Some easy inexpensive crafts.....get some pastel pink paper napkins.....fold like fans.....paper cups...or clear with pink drinks.

Pretty pink pin-wheels made out of pink wrapping paper (use pink straws for stems)  Easy to make....put one at eat place setting.....or in a 'boquet' in the table centre.

I don't think I had any theme parties. Usually we just went to Chuck E Cheese's.

Here are some of my ideas..not sure if you need ideas for games or decorations but will include them here anyways.  When is the party?  Is it at your own home?

Maybe have these girls dress up in their favorite princess character?  (I'm not sure if this is doable if parents have to spend money on this).  Or have them come dressed in pink (or pink and white...)

Get some pink and white helium balloons.  You could rent the helium tank or get the balloons blown up at the Dollar Store.

Put on some pink nail polish on the girls.

Pink and white streamers.  (I think pink and white go well together for a princess theme party)

You could get some bigger-sized beads together and have the girls make their own necklaces or bracelets.

Have them bake some muffins with pink icing and sprinkles and they can take them home.

I like the beads idea purelife.  I thought of the pink nail polish thing too, but then I thought......nail-polish and 4 year olds.....(//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/8.gif)

Just have a party with P.C's pink stuff, I don't think you need to have kids dressed up.

It's not fun for the kids or the moms to have organized 'games'.  Simple crafts or cookie decorating is more interactive and less structured for them.

A big laundry basket in the center of the lawn,  to be a 'bubble catcher' is a good 'game' for wee ones.  Get the kids to form a big circle around the basket (and here's where your bubbles party favour comes in)....get them to 'try' to get 5 bubbles to land in the basket.  Of course there will be so many bubbles, all the kids win.  Might as well sing a few rounds of ring around the rosie while you're at it. (stretches it out for a while.....lol.....and prizes for all)

Bubbles! of course.
Gosh I forget what you do for the boys. All I can remember is running around in the yard getting into to stuff with my friends. lol playing wiffle ball. or some type of catch or we went to the pool.

Just remember, Dollar Giant is your friend. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif)  (never had those when my kids were little)  Stickers, beads, bags, tissues, forks/spoons/plates/cups/napkins.....they got it all.  Keep it simple and soft.[img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/froehlich/c020.gif[/img]

How about a tea party for eats?
Little finger sandwiches with the mini cupcakes and cookies?
One of my friends did this- she bought some fancy looking tea cups and saucers (from Value Village) and served the girls drinks in their cups.  They got to take home their own tea cups.

Love it Lil Me.  Imagination and inventiveness (?) is even cheaper than the Buck store.

Bake or buy sugar cookies and have the girls decorate them for a take-home treat?  When the icing is dry, put the cookie in a cellophane bag (dollar store) and tie with a cute ribbon?

For one birthday we made plastic plates. Coloured what we wanted it to be like and we'd put them in the oven. Then boom you have a plastic plate. I still have my plates from '88-'89. Use them everyday still. God I'm old. lol when you are eating on something that has in your hand writing 1989 in scribble. wow

Hmmm.... not too sure about the sugar cookies. I was gonna just buy or make small muffins so they can decorate them with icing sugar and what not. I just hope it won't be too messy.

Thanks again for the cool ideas. Anything you can think of, just lemme know. Really appreciate this.
