I think you need to check your website. Might be a virus lurking around. My firewall stopped a couple but I think there's something weird going on.

Can you tell me exactly what the error message says, what it stopped, names, etc? The name of the anti-virus program you're running, and the full text of any alerts or error messages would be a huge help to see what might be going on.

I've actually noticed a few oddities the last few days as well, but wasn't sure if it was DS or not, as I usually have several windows open. I'm getting some pretty peculiar pop-ups...and something is setting off the anti-virus.

[/p]This is probably a fake pop-up generated by malware in your system. There are no pop-ups running on the board at all, ever, so if you see them it probably means your PC has an infection. Whether you got it here or not is another story. Sometimes they're served up from hacked Flash ads that get by the ad companies. As far as I can tell neither the board nor the site is infected or serving up malware.

Yes...that's what I had too.
I just had that problem too, my computer shut down the page when it started.
I've had a few problems recently as well - adverts appearing as pop-ups.
It has nothing to do with my computer. It is only when I logged onto DS. Two incidents happened, one while I was logged on here and I had a screen that asked me if I wanted to download a spyware. I shut it down immediately. The next time it happened was when I logged onto DS at work to see what's happening so I know for sure it wasn't me. As you can imagine, I was somewhat panicky at work..... no more surfing at work. Too dangerous. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Other/1.gif)
