When I get bored with it....or too much dust accumulates.

Hi Gophie [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/froehlich/a010.gif" border=0]

I always find that my house feels bare for a few days after I take everything down.  Probably Jan 2 for me.

That's hilarious Lil Me.  When you've had enough, you've had enough.

I hate taking the stuff down.  I know it's going to be another whole year to see it again.  It takes me 3 weeks to get it all up....I'M GOING TO ENJOY IT.[img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/xmas/g065.gif" border=0]

We took almost everything down on the 28th.  I still have those snowman window clingee thingees up though...they're too cute to resist taking them down.

Oh, and my snowflakes cups are year-round. :))

My cards are still in place, but this is mainly because they're still arriving.

Speaking of cards, what do you guys do with your cards that are received?  Keep or recycle?

I keep some and make tiny gift boxes out of others for the next year.  (there's a neat little template to make these little lidded boxes with no glue) They're cute (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif)

I make gift tags out of them for the next time round or sometimes make them into postcards (if the picture isn't too redolent of Christmas).

I recycle all my cards.  I'd consider keeping them if I had a place to store them.

Great ideas for those cards.  I saw a news story on all the garbage after Christmas, we really need to find ways of reducing it, reusing and recycling!

Recycling any unpostmarked stamps is even more satisfactory!
