I've opened one because it was already in a see-through bag and my daughter wanted it so I gave it to her.

She's sooo soo excited about all the presents. There's nothing funnier than watching your kid running through the house wondering if Santa has left presents for her. I'm not taking them out till Christmas night.... keep em' in suspense I always say! *evil chuckle*

It's only Dec 23, no presents opened.  Tomorrow we have family here that we don't see on Christmas day so some presents opened on Christmas eve!

Christmas gifts received this year

total = 1
from the client who employs the company i work for as security.

A gift bag with advertising on it which states my place of employment.
inside the gift bag is a key chain and 2 small take out boxes of lucky candys and fortune cookies.

i wish they were handing out the bottles of crown royal again, now those were sweet gifts.

i guess i should be happy i received even just one gift this year.

on whos nickle dude i cant afford to pay them to come in every 7 days, which is needed to bring them under controll and the building land lord will do it only 2 times per month if that.... better to lose it all and start fresh i guess

slowly but surely from the ground up once the begginings start

i have no choice but to continue and can u real be sure those comics those cards those books are ver realy bug free i cant be sure i have to be safe for me and my own health peppers if i want her back in my own house

nope to much work to do to much crap to throw away

its better to junk it be safe and save and save and build it slow once more after my house is minimum 3 months bug free then i will buy a little small bits bit by bit to replace what i have had to lose

it will be another life time maybe longer some things r ireplaceable today though artistic drawing done of me ruined  sighs paintings i dont know if i can slavage or save art work s sighs i hate it lilme but ur right it has to be done

Yup. Well the combines pick up everything that's on the ground. So if there's glass in the field... hahaha
Usually if its big metal pieces we pick those up as that'll ruin the tractor. Usually though the small glass or bottle stuff, trash, doesn't get picked up by us but the tractor (you can't pick up everything). Depends on the farmer though, some are really shitty folks who don't give a damn (the type that leave $250,000 tractors in the field at night) and some are super serious. We're serious folks when it comes to farming and piss and moan about the people who don't give a damn.

Then the grain goes to storage, we're out of places to put grain so we use sheds now. Of course these sheds aren't really clean, clean. Its where we store semi trucks. Like I said some farmers don't give a rats ass and will put grain in um, where the rats live and their dirtiest places, if they can't store anything in the bins.

Bugs are a part of life though, unless you use some crazy pesticide that kills everything  that is probably some black market stuff, you're going to have bugs.

im still trying to guess what the other four are 1 might

Orik is a pretty good guesser!

Title: Re: Opening Christmas Presents
Post by: Orik on Dec 09 08 02:22
well not so good. i can't tell u the name of the book. nore can i tell u the name of the cookies though i think i can guess and if they r the Dansk holiday butter/ sugar cookie i want to open that tin like yesterday... and i was so blind i missed the tiny one stuck between 2 others making it a total of 7 gift wrapped items.

i love them sweet sugar blessed butter cookies omg so delectably decadent so fattening to the stomach and thighs. it's why i only buy them once a year... if i did not restrain my self i would be 10 times the size i am now and then id be stuck :) i hardly fit through the door of the house let alone a car as it is now...

so if u confirm my guess lil_me i will open the cookies today. pls pls pls pls [a href="vny!://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5tvqsVmx5Q"]pls[/a][span style="font-family: Tahoma;"] [/span]if this is not enough begging [a href="vny!://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkjflRRWDes"]pls[/a] [a style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);" href="vny!://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59spZ-Gk6gs"]see this link for more[/a]...  and will leave the box of tea till another day. at least i think its tea. as for the kind of tea im going to guess either orange pekoe or a red rose or one of those celestial seasoned teas of the herbal variety...

I can't help it NHL i admired Sherlock Holmes when i was little and a good mystery always intrigues me. not so much the books of mystery but in life mystery's. and nothing is more mysterious than a wrapped Christmas prezzie...

so half the fun is making a guess. the other half is knowing using basic reasoning skills and the basic senses we have left to us, ie sight, sound, taste, feel and smell, we can figure out the rest with a bit of deductive reasoning...

mind u i am no sherloclck holmes. sherlock could probably tell u what the name of the book is and exactly what each other prezzie is. me im confidant on 4 of them confidant i know what thye are... but what brands and variaty they r im not sure....

growls in frustration i just know those r dansk cookies and i want one so bad...

thinks about going to store and buying a tin...

I'm worse than a kid, and everyone knows that I get to see NOTHING until Christmas morning.

yup...P.C u have the right of it madam... guessing is so much fun... and the true frustration comes from when us guessers (//forums/richedit/smileys/Other/3.gif)  is when we guessers,  have to wait until December 25th to find out, if we're right or wrong. it truly is maddening / frustrating to a guesser to be forced to wait... when we so want to know whats in them now . (//forums/richedit/cliparts/Cartoon/1.gif)
