What do you suppose the cause of the loss of trade supremacy by the USA is ?

tax cutting the rich during a war

war costs more then the money being made

globalization the country can't function without importing everything.

Imports way more then exports due to 'free trade deals'

economy goes on housing numbers

this all leads to inflation.

How did the USSR die? It got into a fight with the US over military. Military spending. Same thing will happen to the states.

Rome fell because of a bunch of hunter and gather germanic tribes. Mighty Rome fell to somebody very crude. Same will happen to the states. That's how empires fall anyway. Our "paxromana" period was inbetween the end of the cold war and the begining of the 'new war'. We aren't fighting an army, you can't literally beat this 'evil'.  Bush started the country on a death wish.

I think if you read all that has been written .....I don't think you could conclude that it's not related.

lol purelife.  It's easy.  Just drop all punctuation and capitals.  Make it really confusing.

No thank you.  I don't mind admitting I'm a political cripple.  Politics makes my eye glaze over.  I know the barest minimum and fill in the blanks with my own common sense.  Sometimes it works.....sometimes it doesn't.

By the way, Canada is really streched in its military spending now with his little toy army in Afghanistan and the rearmement operated by the tories. How come the Canadian $ is going up according to your logic ???[/DIV]
Canada's army may not be a powerhouse, but are good at what they do, and are respected around the world!
