Holy, what a racket. The 3rd gaggle of Canada geese are flying over the house right now. HUGE gaggle. This is the earliest I have ever seen this. I had recently said I thought we were going to have a mild winter......but now I'm changing my mind. I always trust Mother Nature's predictions over the meteorologists.

Going by the last 2 years as an observer I believe this year will be like last year. Everything will be backwards. Instead of the all the snow and bad weather being back east it will be in BC again.

I hate winter. So long as I'm indoors, I'm fine but horrible when you have to go to work. Vancouverittes are NOT equipped to handle winter storms.

winter's the best! But I've heard that if you were born in the summer you like the winter more. And winter births like summer.
I was born in the summer, and my favourite season is spring......next fave.....summer......3rd, fall.....winter ? You can have it. (unless there's snow)
For me it goes 1. winter. 2. fall 3. spring 10. summer
I love winter! I always hope for school closures when it snows!! And if you are late getting into class, you have a good excuse!
