So, do you think Drew Carey should replace Bob Barker on the Price is Right? Er... call me crazy but I don't feel he's the right choice. Oh well. Only time will tell.
NEW YORK (AP) -- Drew Carey has been living a comfortable life of semi-retirement. In a couple of months, he could be Regis Philbin.
The Cleveland native was just selected as Bob Barker's replacement on the daytime game "The Price is Right," and next week he will debut as the host of "Power of 10," a prime-time game that CBS has high hopes for.
A daytime hit and commanding presence in prime-time -- sounds just like Philbin in the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" days. And that wouldn't even count the endless reruns of "The Drew Carey Show" in syndication.

For the life in me I don't know how this guy still has a career. He was never funny on his sitcom, the people around him where. And then his improv show he bought from the BBC he was just the host.
The only thing I liked about his sitcom was the theme song.
Actually, now I can't even remember that so it must not have been so special.
Like you said, why does he still have a career?
Answer: he's bland and generally nonoffensive. Perfect for mainstream American garbage TV.
I used to love that Whose Line show. The regular cast was fantastic.
