love this report when it comes out every year. Its on global recognition. And the higher your company is up on the list more of a cult like love your consumers get. Then myths are created. Like "I must by Sony, because its the best" or Mercedes = power and wealth. Even when both brands are in reality stinking up the joint.
It's the ultimate consumerism study.

I just realized that HSBC stood for Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corp (looked it up).  Ooops!  After the Hong Kong Bank bought out the lowly Bank of B.C. years ago, I just assumed that the BC in HSBC stood for British Columbia.
