Title: Cellphone and Germs
Post by: Lise on Jul 17 07 09:42
Next time you think about sharing your friend's cellphone, beware! Apparently it's more dirty than the toilet seats! Yikes!!!

[DIV class=dek]
Your Cell Phone Is a Breeding Ground for Bacteria
New research out of the United Kingdom found mobile phones are a technological petri dish for tens of thousands of germs.

Why? Germs multiply in warm places. Between the heat the phones generate and the germs on faces and hands, you've got a bacterial breeding ground.

"You put it in a warm place, you hold it in your hand, you put it in your pocket like I do, it's nice and warm," said microbiologist Chuck Gerba. "Bacteria like that. It can grow in these types of places."

That's why I prefer to speak into the big white telephone that's in the  smallest room here at 'chateau al'. It's a Ferguson! Funny, nobody returns my calls but what am I supposed to do, I can't even find my cell -

They should have saved their money......research has already shown that the WORLD is a 'breeding ground' for bacteria.  I'm thinking it's not a huge leap to conclude that something that has your hands and mouth on it....that follows you into public washrooms....would be a breeding ground for bacteria.

So I guess the next step is marketing.

My research has concluded that if you create a problem, you can create a market.....consumers will flock to buy disposable phone condoms as to ensure 'safe talk'.  (ribbed for safe phone sex)
