I have a question for you. There's a firework for Canada Day right ? If so, at what time, and where are the good spots from where we can see it ?
I think that it's all the way out in Surrey on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. The one at Canada Place was banned, unfortunately. :(
OOOOO...it's pouring rain. Hold me, won't you?
EDIT: I'm wrong. D"OH! Did some googling and found this for ya, Michel.

Thanks for the link, O kind PL.
Ah, far from home, hate the crowds... (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Sad/10.gif)
What makes you think that I can only hold you young lady ? hehe
*holding PL in my arms, thinking about the price of the gas to stay quiet*[/DIV]
Downtown is far from home? Website says that you can view them from these areas. You're by Commercial, right? If you don't like crowds, then why did you ask about the fireworks, Michel? LOL, you're too funny.

Yeah, I'm use to luxury, 8 years just a few blocks from the parliament in top level of low rise, I could see all the fireworks and military commemorative flights of the year from my balcony.
If the weather is good, I'll try to go, thanks for the info.
Hopefully, you'll be dressed in red and white, right?
I probably won't go. I'm not that fascinated with Canadian fireworks display. I sure hope that the weather is nice.
which spot would you recommend for the preetiest view ?

Red and White ? Ii sure do have white shrits. But Red ? Hum let see, I do have that that old young communist soviet flag that I bought as a souvenir from Russia... lol
RIP Michel[/DIV]
I dunno. Perhaps you could try English Bay?
OK for english bay, that old red flag have been for too long in the sun and is pink now, could be usefull lol

Me either I must say, but you know, from the balcony...
I could also see the ones from the International Competition organised by the Casino de Hull (suburb on Québec side of the Ottawa River). That was more impressive I must say.
Wow. I bet that it's wonderful (and convenient) to watch fireworks from your balcony. It's more romantic, less crowded, unless you have a menage a trois or something. ;)
Yeah it was very convenient, fireworks over the parliament, very beautiful.
No, no Ménage à trois unfortunately (I could live with that type of crowd anytime hehe)
