PURE GENIUS: The chef at Rustico's in Washington, DC is selling "hopsicles", or [a style="color: rgb(0, 0, 255);" href="vny!://keyetv.com/watercooler/watercooler_story_172143825.html"]frozen beer on a stick[/a].
I hate it when my beer freezes even a little bit. Beer on a stick ? - no thanks!
I hate it when people bitch about cold beer.
I often put ice into my beer.
Ice around cans of beer works well, but in the beer? No!

Nazi!
Umm, we put ice in the beer here in Africa cause no matter how cold a 355 mL bottle of beer is here when you get it.. by the time you get half done you need to pour it in a glass with two or three rocks to get it cold again to stomach. Of course after 8 or so you drink whats in front of you, lol.
The fastest way actually to get a brewski cold is to use ice with water surrounding the beer.. more surface area and you get cold beer within 25 minutes colder than if you had it in a fridge.. and with the water and melting ice moving the Heat CoEfficient from the warm cans of beer.. they will get really close to freezing.. without freezing. Er.. from what I remember form Thermodynamics anyhow, thats about what I remember from that course.
And to get it even colder, add salt to the water. The only problem with that is you can not use the ice in your drinks.
Thats true! I forgot about that SF.. Ill have to remember that.
This is ture about not having salt in beer <shudder> can you imagine the taste? lol
I sometimes add salt to my beer. Not much, just a couple of shakes. I like the taste and it also creates a thick head.
