The summer nights are the best part of it, aren't they? I just wish we could have them the whole year.
deleted?
Well I'm going swimming. lol
What's everyone's summer plans this year that's what I mean. lol
Well, I'm going cat-sitting for a week.
sounds like a blast, what are the cats like?

Yes. And in about a second, I'm going to delete yours. ;)
ahah please purelife, don't obliterate my miserable life, I will do anything...
Hey, you gonna watch Transformers?
This summer, I hope to go down to Portland, the Island, Interior BC, National Parks, Bellingham and the usual beaches, parks, etc.
Alaska, BC, Yukon, NWT and Alberta for me. One month road trip. Pray that the god thunderbird is kind...
I will. Loved the cartoon.
I don't know what I'll do for the summer. Not going anywhere until august. :)
Trying to escape from the hot weather, Michel?
I plan on exploring my yard....from my adirondack.
I've got family in Alaska. So sometime in the future I'll trek up their. But then I also want to see the Arctic Ocean too so I'd take the Dempster highway. But I'd need my car for that.
I eventually want to visit every region of BC.
all 26 of them.
We have 26 regions ? [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/more/bigs/c028.gif" border=0]
Uhm, are we talking about summer for this year or for the next coupla of years? AND, are we talking about what we wish to do for the summer of this year or?
OR, do you actually want to know our ACTUAL plans for this summer that are going to be FOR SURES?
I'm confused and don't want to hi-jack another thread.

Yeah Purelife, I can't tolerate anymore such sun and heat in crazy Van... lol
Sipposely when you drive the Dempster highway, you have to expect 2 flat tires and your windshield cracked. They say it's the most exciting experience you'll ever live in your life while remaining seated.
Wouhou ! (not sure about that butt anyway...)
Oh well, as long as no grizzly eats me...
yeah I saw a 8 minute piece on the National about the Dempster highway. Some guy from North Van did the whole thing in a motor bike.
On a motorbike ? With all these bumps? Need balls to do that, need balls... (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif)
yeah it was some guy in his 60's I think. Then they talked to a girl from Saskatchewan who was bored working at the 24hr cafe at Fort McPherson. Apparently being sort of stranded for a summer is not the best idea.
Whatever and wherever you go SD, I would NOT drive alone. It's not advisable to go on any of theese trips outside your comfort zone alone.
I hope I'll see lots of wildlife that I never or not often saw in liberty, especially grizzlies and caribou. Brook Falls is crazy, you must reserve a campsite in the first week of january if you want to see the grizzlies fishing salmon during the migration of July. Otherwise you cannot stay more than 2 hours there, and since it's around 500 $ for the seaplane... pricey pricey. With some luck, I'll see some fishing in other spots. Kutzeymateen maybe...
oh don't worry I won't go alone. Besides that's not fun anyways.
SD....your map shows 28 regions. (just so you don't miss out on any exploring)
it does? *goes to check*
d'oh!
Number 9 is teh BEST!!

Summer? What summer. It's June and raining cats and dogs. My garden isn't complaining but I can do without the wet weather for a change.
Summer is here! yay!
my plans are finishing a few projects through my work
A mid summer trip to South Florida with work...(then I will have to make a decision soon after that)
Going to our cabin for a bit in July, this is what I am looking forward to the most...some R&R!
Hopefully a trip to Portland sometime too to see an amigo there. We camped along the coast in Oregon in 2005, just my son and I , it ruled! We may try to do that again in late August.
Last two months in Van have not been very good so far. Is it normal weather here ?
apparently not. I read something in the Sun about 'Where's Summer?'
OK if it's bad at the point that the media talk about it, it's good to know then.
It's suppose to be in the lower 20's in june, mid-20's to upper 20's in July and August.
Actually, Vancouver can have some pretty hot, sunny, sweaty summers. It can stay sunny for long periods of time in July and August.
Vancouver hot? lol.
Although you guys don't have air conditioning up their so I guess it would be 'hotter'.
ok, maybe not St.Louy summer hot, but definately into the late 20s in July. Usually people are not dying from heat stroke like in T.O.
high 20's! love it!
Me either, just can't wait to see the real Van summer then, cos I don't want to regret those 34 and 38 celcius humidex from Ottawa and Montréal.
I don't think you'll see it that hot in Van. Unless you go into the interior. Apparently it gets that warm there.
Yes, in the rain shadow (Kamloops area to the Okanagan/USA border). temperatures regularly exceed 38 degrees. Its not too humid either. Kamloops gets wicked lightning storms because the cool coastal air crashes in with the dry desert like heat. I think there is even a lightning study centre in Kamloops?
I don't know about this summer.....all I know is it's freaking cold right now.
This is the temp today

Not posting too much today......DS running slower than ever today......grrrrrrrrrr
It must be your internet connection because its fast for me today.
Sounds like great weather P.C. here its 32 C.
I know I sound like a broken record, but I'm sure it's not my internet connection. Wouldn't that make everything slow? It's just DS. It's SOOOOO frustrating.
I don't remember a June this cold before. Rainy maybe....but not this cold.
hmm i don't know what it is then.
I'd take the cold over the hot any day though.
