Hello PC.

I went with Russ' idea and went to Indian meat shops. They've got a whole bunch of lovely marinating meats that are just out of this world. For something truly different, try their meat. I love their tandoori marinating chicken.

Mine's the same. Soy sauce and honey and black pepper. Mixed in a bag and taste quite good. Be careful of burning the meat as honey tend to caramalized in the heat but if you do them slow and nice, they come out wonderful. Toast with roasted sesame seeds and garnish with cilantro for an Asian touch.

Best ever potato salad. I use New Potatoes. Boil them, drain... A dollop of Hellmans mayo (I only use Hellmans as I don't like Miracle Whip). Salt & Pepper. Throw in couple of chopped spring onions and a couple of slices of boiled eggs. Mix together. Refrigerate for at least an hour before taking out. Serve with chicken.

  Yum!

Grilled veggies. Can't go wrong with them. In a bag, toss with balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper and throw on the barbie. Whatever veggies works well with this but I also like to throw in spring onions, bell peppers, sweet potoates (I parboil them first) and whatever's at hand.

I've got to try your grilled veg with balsamic, Lise.

I've been tossing mine in olive oil and Montreal steak sprice before grilling.  Carrots, onions, yams first, then broccoli, asparagus and mushrooms a few minutes later.

I ate some Swiss Sausage salad at a party last year.  It was delish.  Just found a recipe, but haven't tried making it yet.

That looks good Lil Me.  (but I'm uncertain what they mean about raw pork sausage.)

It's cervelas or cervelat which is already cooked when you buy it. Almost like a salami.
