Title: CAUTION: "Twin's" posts
Post by: TehBorken on Jun 01 07 04:52
I understand that the posts by "twin" take you to a tasty virus, so be warned. We'll just squash any of his posts from now on.

I would be cautious of posts containing links from any guests for now.

And that is WHY I don't click on any free links unless it has TehBorken's cute butt on it.

what does 'free links' mean?
Title: Re: CAUTION: "Twin's" posts

Free links to anything. Beware the word free in them! Nothing but trouble. I think I got a virus the last time I went on a freebie link.

ah I only click on links that aren't covered up by a word. If I do I always check the status bar on the bottom of the page to see where the link goes.

Exactly what I meant, P.C.  I wish my brain would take me along when it goes on vacation!

Sorry, my mind gets a vacation (daily), but I don't.  If it hadn't been for eye surgeries last year I wouldn't have had any time off at all.  It's been 6 years...4 part time and 2 full time.

Hey.....the ONLY vacation I have EVER been on, are trips that are geared to hubby's work related 'get aways'.  We still haven't had a honeymoon for heavens sake.  He's a tough one to tear away from work.

you haven't had a honeymoon yet? wow you guys are busy. When were you suppose to take that honeymoon?

Since I wouldn't get paid for my vacation time, I will keep on working.  It might not be much longer, as the lady is getting so forgetful and so reluctant to eat that hospitalization might be required soon.

what happens if that happens?

It means that I will be unemployed.  Horrid thought!

Permanently, unfortunately.

got any vacation ideas when that happens?

With my sharply reduced income there won't be money for vacations.  Consider retirement a permant vacation.  Boring!

bummer. So no traveling the country side?

Not a chance.  With the cost of gas, travelling to the store will be expensive enough!

yeah true. Although those rocky mountain train tours through BC and Alberta look really cool.
B.C. needs a passenger train line to Whistler. Somebody resurrect the B.C. Rail!

I thought they were going to run the Royal Hudson again.  Maybe when the Olympics are on.

Royal Hudson never heard of that. I know the Sea to Sky needed to be upgraded but it would make more sense to have passenger trains going up to Whistler. Especially since Campbell wants to be 'green'. Going skiing in Whistler without having to drive would be about as green as possible. But then again I don't believe Campbell's about face on becoming an eco-warrior.

The Royal Hudson is a train that was refurbished and took tourists on a round trip to Whistler in the summer.    I never rode it, but it was supposed to be a delightful trip, with time for sight-seeing in Whistler before returning.  It would be a fun thing to do.  You might find something about it on Google
