Which of your possessions do you treasure most of all? It doesn't need to have any monetary value.
Good question, Gophie! So hard to mentally separate things we "treasure" from everyday objects we have become reliant upon (wristwatch, internet, cellphone, etc.)
Apart from special people in my life (which are not posessions), I really don't treasure "stuff". It's all just stuff and all mine is very utilitarian and replacable.
Having said all that, I do like my night mouth guard (to protect teeth during grinding whilst asleep), glasses (extremely lightweight- titanium frames with high index Nikon lenses- no mean feat with my high degree of correction), and othopedic water-filled pillow.
I treasure the few bits of things that belonged to my mom and dad. Even something as simple as a dreadfully ugly old tablecloth that I never use, but can't seem to part with. Old family photos and such are also among my favourite treasures.
Mine are very similar to those of PC, i.e. things that belonged to my parents and grandparents, old family photographs AND a peculiarly shaped stone I found in a river when I was about 10.
You must have a very impressive hat collection somewhere, Gophie.
You must have a very large freezer for all your poutine, Lil Me.
AND a peculiarly shaped stone I found in a river when I was about 10.
That's amazing Gophie. I have a piece of wood that I found when I was a kid. It's smooth ......part of a knot, I guess. I could almost wear it as a ring. I still have it. Even in light of my recent purge, I came across it once again and still kept it......lol

LOL. It's hard to contain all the poutine, sometimes.
I know, I can sense it pouring out of you everytime you make an appearance.
Yipes !

LOl at least he didn't say steak hammer.
LoL GOOD ONE, PC! Boys do think that we belong to them as soon as there is a ring involved.... ;)
My personal possessions would be photographs and my ring and of course, my guy is mine! ;)
My cat is my most prized possession, followed by my car.
Oh, I've got to add: my mp3 player and my digital camera.
I'll add my library card and computer to the list.
Well HI Kitten !!!!
I'd add good friends to the list, except they don't exactly fall into the 'possessions' catagory.
Ah, just put it down anyways, Miss PC. I've added my guy down but he really isn't a possession. ;)
If friends were possessions they would have been at the top of the list. They are certainly prized!
Sorry for my absence, but I was attacked by a herd of books. lol
my clothes
my necklaces/earrings
photo albums

the attraction thread?
I forgot to mention books. Definitely essential to my life.
No Silly Goose......THIS one. We've all been adding our friends and loved ones to the list and..........well.....never mind.
Ok then. Let the hijack begin.
I'll add Mr LM, Heckyl & Jeckyl and the Polar Bears to the list.
ah oh....... lol
crickets are going off in my head.
lol
Me too Kitten.....I tossed that one around at first too....lol
Love my books. (got rid of a heap-o-books at the garage sale. It always makes me feel good, to think of someone else enjoying a book that I enjoyed.) I can still start a small library with what I kept.
ok...my family and friends
Are you close to the crickets SD?
yeah in my head.
rofl. Are they friendly crickets?
I hope so, never seen an unfriendly cricket. Saw this massive Moth sleeping on the brick wall on my house. Was the size of a softball.
