Hi, if any of you know Orik in RL, be sure to pass along your positive thoughts and good wishes as his surgery is today (hospital not disclosed upon request). (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/21.gif)

I'd send him best wishes, but I haven't been able to post on DV in over a year.
All be the best for the Frog Man.

I'm not going over to the dark side, but you can tell him I'm sending my best wishes.
If you can hear me, good luck brother!
I just posted in that thread quickly to wish him luck. I prefer living by the policy of "In to get the job done" and "out in a flash!"
ditto
get well soon!
I'm about to join you in the surgery room, my hand surgery is wednesday.
Good luck Orik.
[DIV style="OVERFLOW: auto; WIDTH: 100%"]good evening everybody
Tomorrow is surgery day.
just got home
Surgery went very well. I am at home now... still a bit out of it...
I went into the hospital at 9 am for pre admittance and went into surgery at 11:03 am and was moved to the recovery ward at 13:17 thats 1:17 for those who don't know military time...to bay 8 i think ... it could have been bed 5 ... i was a bit fuzzy...
man some very hot nurses walking around... [img]vny!://www.discovervancouver.com/forum/icon/icon_smile_sleepy.gif" alt="" border="0"].... i had some of them laughing though>>> so my morbid humor went over fairly well... i took chair 13 in the surgical waiting area... only cause i love 13 its my favorite number next to 17...
my mind is all spacey... these drugs really walk you around the moon...
they used a local... they did not use a general anesthesia to risky... if they had used the general they would have had to keep me over night, due to the risk of not cardiac arrest but the other one where i stop breathing, respiratory arrest i think it is called...
my surgeon and the anesthesiologist concurred it was to high a risk to take. considering my past history of heart trouble and the fact that i have severe sleep apnea as it is
i all ready use a cpap machine ... for those who don't know...
CPAP stands for continuous positive air pressure and refers to providing an unbroken stream of air to the lungs
they asked if i wanted a screen i took the screen, I did not want to see the surgery... i think that would of made me to jumpy... so here i am at home laying in bed and a bag of frozen peas my best friend..
I met Bruce the anesthesiologist according to the staff at Saint Paul's he's the best there is... I must say he put me at ease and he kept me laughing and my mind off the surgery below... at least for the period when i was conscious... they did have me heavily sedated ( stoned out a my freaking mind would be a better term) i was aware but not all their if you know what i mean .... they restrained my legs and arms... i kept wanting to move my arms back and forth it looked cool... but it had the iv's in... oops...
can you imagine me stoned... I must say i am glad i never used heroin it must be something like what i felt.. all warm and happy so damn floaty ... words do not describe.. "the milk of amnesia"... that's what Bruce called it... boy does that drug fück you up... i could feel the tugging and incision... but no pain...but I didn't care words where kinda fuzzy i could hear them speaking but it sounded like sound does when one is underwater...
stitches are so tiny... the scar will be almost imperceivable (meaning it wont be seen) fixing the torn foreskin, removal of the necrotic flesh and restoration of blood flow...the scar tissue from the bike accident is now gone... so my manhood is now all fixed.
i could convert to Judaism now... but that is a whole other ball of wax...
in 8 weeks i can take my new equipment out for a test drive..
any volunteers [img]vny!://www.discovervancouver.com/forum/icon/509.gif" alt="" border="0"] i can honestly say i have never had that many people in one room looking at my penis... lol
thanks for all the prayers and good wishes.. according to my surgeon , he said things went over with out a hitch, not one complication and done in half the time... i think that's cause of the great assistants he had.. and the angels over seeing the whole thing... and maybe just maybe the hand of god directing... but those could have just been hallucinations from the drugs...
ok i apologize if this seems weird and all over the place but i blame the drugs.. i am still pretty messed up and i get to take plenty more every day for the next 18 days...
i am gonna go have a nap...

I got confused yesterday was consulation day, my doctor made it sound like it was surgery day.
yeah i had the same problem a while back SD consultation.. its where they tell you what will happen and what all the risks are...
informed consent...
i am to groggy to stay here.
so i am gonna wish you best of luck and send positive thoughts and prayers your way SD....
peace be with oyu..
Good luck on a speedy recovery (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/21.gif) ( I can sympathise with you on the bag 'o peas)

Oops, I should have clarified myself. I didn't mean you needed to go to DV and post good wishes, but more along the lines of telephoning him if you knew him in RL.
Anyhoo, looks like he's back and doing good if he already posted here!
Orik I told ya frozen peas would be your best friend. Glad to hear the surgery went good, and I'm sure you'll tell us in 8 weeks how things work! (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Teasing/13.gif)
