And a bunch of others that seem great in retrospect until I watch them again as an adult.
I'm sensing deja vu. Did we already discuss this, or am I imagining things?
might have but the church topic dissovled into love boat flashbacks.
We should call it "Son of Old Tv Shows You Watched".
No. You're not imagining it hehe.
as a tot, these all seemed like good shows:
All in the Family
Incredible Hulk
TJ Hooker
CHIPS
MASH
later:
ALF
Star Trek TNG
Renegade -sigh-
YES!!! Good call.
I'm stealing
All in the Family
Incredible Hulk
CHIPS
MASH
ALF
!!!
You can keep TJ Hooker and Renegade though (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Sad/10.gif)
Lemme guess, you were in love with Lorenzo Lamas?
still am, if truth be known....
I was unrequitedly in love with Hotlips in M*A*S*H .
Ditto.
When she called someone a sniveling twerp I got goosebumps (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Shocked/1.gif)
UFO
Invaders
Emergency 51 (just for stationhouse alert noise- "beepBOOPbloooopBLAAAAP-klaxon")
Space 1999
Dark Shadows
god I am so &^#%! old... (sigh)
Mad TV
Ren and stimpy
Electric Circus (mid 90s dance show on Much...lots of bouncy hot ladies)
In Living Color
Bugs Bunny
Married With Children
Space 1999
Dark Shadows
Dunno, I used to watch these also so I guess I'm a geezer too.
Loved Space 1999, Dark Shadows was a little too soap operaesque and low budget for me.
I used to want to hang out with Bo and Luke. Actually, I still do. Drive around and build jumps all over Hazzard County.
Tiny Toons
MacGyver
Twilight Zone
Three's Acompany
The Cosby Show
Beverly Hills 90210 (yes, I'm ashame to admit it......)
Xena, Warrior Princess
Hercules, Legendary Continues
The Lost World
Golden girls are the best.
lol, ma. I actually watched that a while back by default. (in it's 10th round of reruns) I've never liked watching the news just before sleep, so started tuning into it just because there was nothing else 'light' on at that time.
Turned out that there was some pretty good humour in amongst the cheese.
I watched Murphy Brown against the wishes of the Vice President at the time.

That was Dan "potatoe" Quayle, right?
God, what a bonehead! Bush was smart to pick DQ as his running mate. He probably got the best security a president could get as a result.
yup that was that goof ball. He'd go around the country directly talking about Murphy Brown as if they were a real person.
Just goes to show you how much republicans actually care about people. Yeah they care so deeply about children that don't even exist, yet when they're born they want nothing to do with them.
Cheers
Uhm... is Fraiser considered old? I still watch some of the re-runs. Quite funny.
Cheers had to have been one of the only shows that successfully replaced actors who were equally as good as the originals. Replacing Diane Chambers with Rebecca, Coach with Woody, etc. I think the reason they did this so successfully was because they didn't replace the characters.....they just added them.
Magnum PI
Hunter
Hawaii 5-O
OHHHH....I used to love Magnum PI. I never watched it when it was popular, because I just thought it was one of those shows where the handsome guy always got the girl. But catching it years later in reruns (which isSTILL in reruns), I discovered that it was actually pretty good. (and he NEVER got the girl....LOL)
those are all great detective shows. And Columbo!
Did anyone else watch Happy Days? I had the Scott Baio poster.
Magnum PI
guns
fast cars
Hawaii
good looking people
sauve attitude
=
very popular.
lol
Oh yeaaaaa, Columbo. One of my faves. Peter Falk was great in that.
Never did the Happy Days.
I used to really like LA Law too. That show was so well written, that they could try a controversial case that I had really firm beliefs on, only to find myself rethinking what I thought I believed in.
I watch The Rockford Files a lot.
Silver Spoons?
Silver Spoons? Is that really a show? I don't think I've heard of it before.
(//vny!://www.classic-tv.com/shows/images/silvercast.gif)
oh yeah. Ricky Schroeder, the model train and the freestanding video games inside the house. That's all I remember.
I will sheepishly admit that I watched reruns of Perfect Strangers for years.
The Love Boat
Fantasy Island
Three's Company
If Perfect Strangers was the one with the guy with the cousin from Russia, then I watched it too....LOL I could never remember the name of that show. * I watched it too.
And here's a couple of ancient ones, that I really liked. Bossom Buddies and Mork and Mindy....Hahahahaaaa
Very few people I know have ever heard of Bossom Buddies.
Balki! He was one funny man. Ever saw him back on the Surreal Life? He's actually one horny dude.
I remember Bosum Buddies....I even remember the opening theme song.
What is it Scottie? I'm vaguely remembering a Billy Joel song ?
