Title: All Blood Converted to Type O?
Post by: TehBorken on Apr 02 07 03:11
Wow.
[hr style="width: 100%; height: 2px;"]All Blood Types Converted to Type O?

The BBC is reporting that scientists claim to have discovered a technique to [a href="vny!://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/6517137.stm"]convert all blood into Type O[/a] with the discovery of an enzyme that can strip the A and B antigens. This has implications to transform the stored blood supply into transfusable blood for all, since anyone can receive type O blood without risk. It does not address the RH negative issue, however.
