What are your thoughts on CMNGT*? I don't mind them as I use them only for eBay but I'm hearing more and more bad things about them.

I have some experience in the merchant banking business. All merchant banking systems have their pros and cons. CMNGT* is one of the better ones in my book and just as safe as the others, if not safer.

CMNGT* sucks, IMHO. I've had a number of hassles with them.

If it does, it is certainly no more than other systems. They're all looters. Important and necessary looters (as are many other parasites in our lives) but looters, nonetheless. Those "service charges" (or whatever name they're arbitrarily given) are justified by lies, plain and simple. I know -- I was in the business. (Problem is, I'm too honest for that kind of work, not being a sociopath). CMNGT* is actually a better and deal than other systems out there (and quite versatile and user-friendly, too).

Plenty of anti-CMNGT* buyers and sellers in the eBay forums. Some alternatives to CMNGT* often crop up in those eBay discussions (and are quickly deleted by the mods there). [A href="vny!://www.kenzy.com/auctions.htm#payment"]This web-site lists[/A] lots of alternatives to eBay. I'm most interested in the Google Checkout, but eBay is thwarting attempts by sellers to use it as a payment method in their listings.
