The summer months are the best.
No, they're not - spring is far better!
Spring's too wet. Although I do enjoy the flowers coming in, I'd much prefer summer because it's the only time we can all get outside with the kids and not feel like we have to tackle them into raincoats, coats etc etc etc.
Ah, but the sights and scents of spring, the romance of the unfolding evenings, the rising of the sap, the new life on every side, the early morning dew, the air like wine....

It seems like Pacific Northwest's summer is like the midwest and plain states and provinces spring.
Because nothing beats the spring here. T-storms, everything blooming bearable weather. When summer comes you're bathing in your own sweat and it ain't fun.
in the summer...the birds are singing so loudly that it is hard to sleep in the morning. The afternoon is filled with the hum of lawnmowers in the distance. Kids are out of school and home...having fun being kids. The evening still has sun...so sitting out on the deck...with a drink of choice...with friends visiting...lasts longer. I love summer in general...so..I guess that I should change my one month to include june and july as well.
September. Not just becuase its my bday month, but because its still warm enough to go do all wonderful summer activities without all the families everywhere cause the kids are back in school and everyones tired from all the pre and during summer activites.
Not knocking families, but we go out camping to get away and to be able to have a good time without having to worry about annoying anyone around us. If we have families near us, we usually move so as not to encroach upon their camping and family fun. We arent rowdy or crazy, but we like to play music ALL the time and drink, yelling profanities to each other. I cant imagine how that would affect a family trying to camp, lol.
I hate how families dont go to campsites designated for them, seriously. I appologize to people this offends, but we dont go to them for that reason, so as not to bother the families and people that want to have an enjoyable trip. I go there sometimes to have a quiet trip so as not to be bothered. The places we went to far away from others that is hard to get to, is now being deluged with people with young kids.. that complain as soon as we show up... I mean, where else are we supposed to go?
Wow, What the heck set me off? lol.
maybe the families are trying to do what you're trying to do? avoid other families. lol
You won't have to worry about us, Russ. WE HATES the camping ground.
we hates? We is a person. ;) :)

Um no, lol, the campground is where we dont go to avoid annoying families and other campers.
We try to go where its difficult to get to so as to stay away from families. Dont DISLIKE family camping.. I did it all the time as a kid. But we dont want to spoil someone elses trip.
July! No more dreadful provincial exams... until January :(
Whichever month it is that starts to get warm after Winter.
Months are arbitrary human inventions but teh heat is undeniable.
I love every month.
I love a snowy December, January and February for the boarding season.
I love the spring because the warmth approaches.
I love summer months because Devil is found at a lake somewhere.
Fall makes me happy because the heat is gone. (not a heat fan unless at water).
Summer in a city is a cruel JOKE!
