I always go for Costco butter, cheese and wine. And groceries at Trader Joe's.
You?
Dont cross the border to BUY stuff at stores per se.. I buy off of ebay and get it shipped to point roberts(CHEAP CHEAP shipping), then cross teh border, pick it up and do the declaration myself.
These things are all cheaper in the U.S.?
Why is that?
Most food stuffs are cheaper in the US. Our government regulations and taxes make them higher than in the US. Its not a huge amount cheaper, but a noticable amount with certain items.
Speaking of food, Russ, your avatar, is it supposed to be a red X?
really? It comes up great for me?? Ill change it, thanks and sorry.
What does your avatar say?
Looks like "Avatarity.com Free Avatars!"
hmm, im not doing too well with avatars here am I? It comes through great for me. lol.
I see a stick figure for Russ' avatar.
What I buy from the US? Gosh. I haven't been there in ages. I must say there isn't very much that I would buy from there. If I do get the chance, I would buy a lot more baby items (because Ally said they were cheaper there).
I bought a bunch of Lacrosse equipment and ski equipment in the USA. After the exchange and duty. I think I still saved myself an Assload of $$$.
I don't think things are really cheap in the USA, they are just frickin' more expensive in Canada.
It's not exactly convenient for me to 'go shopping' in the States, but when I'm there, I always buy shoes, socks, panties and bras. Best prices and selection ever.
....and paper.
My coworkers go to the outlet malls quite often. One time, they bought 7 armani watches (retails around $250 CAD) for $50 US each. They found the watches at a Fossil watch store.
GOOD DEAL
I bet they're never late.
LOL, I have a watch and a clock on my cell phone.. Im still late. Er, I mean Im sure you said I had to be in from the garage at 4pm.. not 3pm.
that doesnt include showering and being dressed does it (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/10.gif)
Umm, Russ? That's more an issue of selective hearing than it is punctuality. [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/verschiedene/a010.gif" border=0]

LOL! noooooo! no ideas please!
We actually have a phone jack in the garage so thatll CONSTANTLY ring as well as my cell phone.
The intercom sounds like a good idea as well as surveillance cameras (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Teasing/12.gif)

See! BAD ideas! LOL.
It actually sounds like not a bad idea. Thinking about it, my aunt and uncle in PA have that. Its an intercom that you push a button for the area that you want to talk to.. is that the type you have?
