Title: AEGROTOCATELLUS JAGGERI
Post by: TehBorken on Feb 19 07 07:01
[em]AEGROTOCATELLUS JAGGERI[/em]
In 1995, a trilobite species was named after The Rolling Stones' singer Mick Jagger by Adrain and Edgecombe. As if that's not enough, it turns out [em]Aegrotocatellus [/em]means "sick puppy" in Latin.[/p] Mick Jagger was quite popular amongst the paleontologists - turns out there's another species named after him: a fossilized mollusk called [em]Anomphalus jaggerius[/em]. Only fitting for the Greatest Rock And Roll Singer In The History Of The Known Universe.
