I don't care if this was staged or not but I've had personal experience with southern rednecks. They are truly like this. My cousin and I were driving down to Florida to Destin one year and we got chased out of a town because we had Illinois Liscense plates and then we all got pulled over for speeding when we weren't speeding.
I don't recommend driving through the south, if you do stay on the interstates don't go off them. It won't be pleasant.
