Snack to me!
lol....that's a BIG snack.
Well, Gopher is a big man! (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif)
Wasabi peas...... that's too spicy for me, mon. Interesting texture though.
Healthy snacks: avocados, humus and carrot sticks, rice cakes with almond butter, fruit, nuts, wasabi peas (yeah!), pumpkin seeds
Guilty snacks: chips, cheese. Love the kettle chips, guacamole chips, Doritos pepper jack and zesty mordants (!)
Zesty mordants??
I would eat it just because it sounds cool (whatever it is).
Just the Zesty brand Doritos. Of course the bilingual packaging reads "Zesty" and "Mordant". Ricky on the Trailer Park Boys calls them 'Zesty Mordants".

I love any snacks containing nuts and one of my all time fav is sesame.
How about Gopher nuts? I dig 'em.
ROFL - I wondered what was happening to them.
Oh yes. I've got a container full of Gopher nuts. It comes in all sorts of varities...mixed, too.
How much did they charge you for them?
Mine was free.
Uhm, Gopher, it's the other way around. It was how much I charged them for me to "endorse" these nuts. ;)
So I've learned today........
Gopher has big nuts
Women love Gopher's nuts
Kisses to 49er! (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Love/1.gif)
aaah......Purelife, you've just made my day
Dunkaroos (the elementary school snack... there's about 10 or so mini-cookies, and after one ate 8 / 9 cookies, they'd try to get all the frosting onto 1 cookie... pretty fun actually)
Corn Pops (when you're bored, try throwing these into the air and catching them in your mouth)
Chocolate-covered coffee beans (also fun to throw in the air + catch in mouth)
Pocky / Toppo
[a href="vny!://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Tacos"]vny!://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Tacos[/a]
I was surprised you can buy these at T&T ... much more addicting than Doritos/Miss Vickies, etc.
those sour Warheads candies
Take 2 plain waffles, put them in the toaster, take them out when they're golden, stick a bunch of marshmallows between them, microwave for 20 sec. or so (until the marshmallows start to expand) .. then pour some syrup onto the marshmallows. Add whatever other 'meltable' goodies you like.
I think that's about it for now...
I also love chinese bakery buns, like the cocktail bun (coconut filled) and the coconut tarts...mmmm....
Those are yummy too, purelife. I totally love those tan-tarts, those Chinese egg custard ones. Hmm.
Oh yeah...those egg tarts are yummy too, Lise. :)
Have you tried those spongy rice cakes? They're quite good too.
Oh another snack to include..... those sunflower seeds that you have to bite open to get them out of them shells.
Ahhh..yes...sponge rice cakes are really delicious. I don't often buy them but I would have them once in a while. I like that St Germain's bakery by Superstore. They make delicious cocktail buns.
St. Germaine is ok. Sometimes I get a hit and miss piece of cake. One time I was there, the cake I had was stale, like it's been sitting there for awhile. But the other time the cake turned out just divine.
My favorite's the Maxim store by T & T Metrotown. That place rocks!
My favorites........
(//vny!://i5.tinypic.com/42mi0x3.jpg) Wife Cake
(//vny!://i15.tinypic.com/3zlsk75.jpg) Mochi
Oh wow. What are they? Japanese or Chinese? Looks so darn good......
wife cake? lol classic name there
Wife cake is Chinese and are commonly in bakeries where you buy the cocktail buns
Mochi is both Japanese and Chinese, not always in Chinese bakeries but definitely in Japanese bakeries/grocery stores
Hm. I'll have to keep an eye on this "Wife Cake". I've never seen it but now that you mentioned it, perhaps it would be interesting to try it. Does it have a filling inside? What kind?
wife cake has a starchy coconut filling
Wife cake is pretty good...not my fav though. Oh yeah, that Maxim one is good, but I get too lazy to walk all the way there when I usually shop at Superstore. ;)

Pretty sure that there is history to the name
Edit......I believe name came about because it was customary distributed by bridegrooms to friends and families at marriage
