Title: Spa treatment
Post by: Lise on Feb 08 07 10:05
Has anyone done this? I'm thinking of doing facial spa treatment but kinda scared about doing it. I mean, I have no clue on what to do. What's the normal price range for this?

My boss had horror stories about facial treatment. She came out looking terrible with spots all over her face because the lady squeezed everything off her face, even the blackheads. Eeeow.

The most she recommends is a foot spa treatment.

Anyways, what are you thoughts on spa treatment?

Lise, the best person to contact is raerae.  She can give you a great discount.  I've never seen her before but I remember Orca having her facial done by her way back when.

I was meaning to see raerae for a facial but never got around to it.

Hm. Yeah, I should get in touch with raerae about that. She works in Metrotown too. Maybe I'll do that one day.

It's been a while for me, but I think sometimes the face looks worse (just for a day or 2) but is better in the long run.  I sometimes squeeze bumpy bits on my face after a hot shower.  Lemme tell you, the GROSSEST stuff oozes out.

Yup.  She works with Aveda products.  Good stuff, I heard.

OMG. That's gross, Lil Me. LOL. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif) Blackheads are the worst to get out. Other than squeezing them out I don't know what other treatments work.

My boss said when she went for a facial treatment, the woman squeezed all the blackheads from her nose with.................... her fingers.

Wouldn't it be curious to know what type of responses you'd get if you posted this on DV, stating that you were looking at getting a "facial"...?

 Ahh!

Hmm, I think I 'expressed' myself wrong, my beautiful feline friend..

I go to a spa only to buy gift certificates for friends.

Ah... sure yer did, Russ, sure yer did. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif)  I'm kidding!!

We actually  have a guy patient who goes to the spa every so often to get his nails done. Said it was the best thing ever and all men should try it at least once. My husband, though a closet metrosexual, said he'd go with me if I ever want to do it. Hey, maybe I should do this for Valentine's Day. Heh.
