Title: Choose My Name - Bid
Post by: Lise on Feb 05 07 08:47
I can't believe this dude. Scott MacDonald just received $37,000 to change his name to Free-A-Store-Us-Rex.

Goodbye finding a mate who will share yer name, yer poor sod.

it is only for a year. that is easy money. its not like he had 'goldenpalace.com' tattooed on his forehead like a certain someone on ebay.

this was the same guy that traded the red paper clip around and turned it into a house.

Ah, no way. The same guy from the paper clip journey? Wow. That, I didn't know. If anything, he's quite enterprising.

That guy looks very familiar. hmmm Oh I know he and his friend did the hitch hiking 50 states in 50 days.  He's trying to cash in on the fame.

From the last post on the website:

Hey Everyone,

Scotty here wishing ya'll a happy new year. 2006 was a good ride, it was great to meet everyone involved with the Hitch 50 project, hope to see everyone again. Well maybe not everyone, there was these guys in South Carolina, but that's a different story. 2007 is gonna be even better, [a href="vny!://www.choosemyname.com/" target="_blank""]I'm getting a new name[/a], so I'd love to hear any suggestions for it. We're cookin' up several more projects for to keep us all busy, or at least to keep me from getting a 'real job'.

Have fun,

Scotty (for now)

PS.  Anyone seen Fiddy? He's been gone for weeks.  Last I hear he was Cod fishing in the high seas off Pawtucket[a href="vny!://digg.com/offbeat_news/Only_One_Month_Left_Internet_Naming_Auction"]
