Anyone check out the new Canadian Food Guide? It's awesome. I'd say it's about time. I actually have my old food guide but this one's awesome because it's catered to your specific needs, e.g. age, gender, etc etc etc.
I'm going to order my online. It's free.
Check it out: [A href="vny!://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/food-guide-aliment/index_e.html"]vny!://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/food-guide-aliment/index_e.html[/A]
Ah crap. Like all government website, it isn't working at the moment. Oh well.
Just did my bmi again I'm almost obese now. lovely.
BMI info was on that website?
no but I just decided to add that in since it deals with health. I don't trust that bmi thing because I don't think its possible for me to get to where it says I should be.
Then, time for you to check out the Canadian Food Guide for some ideas?
How does it work?
i dont know how accurate the bmi is. it says i am almost overweight and i consider myself skinny!
I'm a noob. Where do you guys find the BMI thingee on the website?

Hey thanks, kingy. Wow. I'm overweight but I think that's wrong. If 1/2 the population can be in that category, we'd all be skinny models. No, there's something definitely wrong with the calculation there.
yea, i think that index is wrong too. i am on the cusp of being overweight and i am so not! ive tried other bmi sites and they are all the same. i guess that is why teen girls have eating disorders.
True. Doesn't help to have Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie flaunting their bods. I don't know but I find more meat on a woman more attractive than not.

Nicole Richie and Linsday Lohan. Bleech. Fugly.
whats that little bump on lindsey? is that her stomach? malnutrition?
Yeah I hate the BMI, it doesn't take in the fact that you have muscles. I will always be 'overweight' to that thing. My junior year in high school I was on the basketball team and all I did was run and run. And I hit the 'basement' which means I couldn't go any further at around 225. According to the BMI I had to get under 220 to be considered 'normal'. I haven't been under 220 in years and was a lot shorter then. In other words I'd have to lose a lot of muscle mass.
I think they want everyone to have a 6 pack abs which is unrealistic if you ask me.
