Title: Drive and talk

I can't stand it when someone drives and talks on the cellphone. My husband do it and it scares the snitzel out of me when he reaches in to answer. I always reach out and answer for him. My sister believes if you have one of those hands-free cellphone, you're ok but I keep telling her it doesn't work. One little distraction and you pay the cost.

So what about you guys? Do you talk and drive at the same time?

IBC has released a website on talking and driving. You can try the driving stimulation here.

I think people need to be severly fined for this( and some need a good slap too).  I'm tired of being behind some buffoon weaving all over the place......slowing down, excellerating.......just generally erratic driving.  I don't want to be anywhere near them.

I rarely talk on the phone while driving.  Actually, never.  If I have a voicemail message, I would always pull over and park, then retrieve my voicemail messages.

Crashes can happen even when you're eating in the car.  I've been in a car where the driver was snacking away, reaching for the food and we nearly hit another car infront of us.  Not fun!

Anything that is distracting takes away your focus from driving.

I look at my phone when It rings and if I need to I will answer it, usually Ill pass it off to my passenger if there is one, if not Ill let my voicemail get it.

I think that people that eat, drink, and PUT ON MAKEUP as they drive are just as bad if not worse. I actually saw someone reading a book as they were driving.

Agree with you Russ about females putting on freaking makeup while driving!

My b/f, when he used to work as a copier delivery driver who sat in a 5 ton truck, saw this one female masterbating WHILE driving!  I'm not kidding you.

LOL, it would be an interesting sight for me as well.    I asked him for details.  ;)  LOL, he was more embarrased to see it than I was hearing it.  I was like, "Hon, girls do it everywhere anywhere at any given time."  ROFL!

If I was to see something like that then get interrogated by my girlfriend for details I think I would be stammering and speechless as well, LOL. I would mention it a bit, but if she followed up on it for more details I dont think I could answer!

  What thread is this again?

Does the box of a truck count as in a car?

Hoohaa? Where did this come from? GLORY HOLE?? LOL

I was talking about sleeping the back of one of my trucks when camping. Put a canopy on it and its easier than a tent. Not as much fun though.

I'm completely guilty of talking while driving. I've just done it so much its second nature almost heck I've texted message people while driving once (not the smartest idea) I can't afford to stop and talk to someone especially when I'm working as a courier when you've got a certain time to finish everything.
