You know even after looking at others' responses and the nice little diagram thingy with the write-ups from the guys with many letters after their names... I still dont have a clue what it is trying to tell me about myself.
Ditto Russ.......not a clue.
I'm sure it's trying to tell us, we're nice as pie.
And a good afternoon to you miss PC! I like the way you think...
So you watching the Grey Cup? Its negative 7 there... so do you think the Canucks are going to win with their star quarterback tevor linden or what?
I thought the Grey Cup didn't start until 5:30 this evening. Once it starts I plan to be incommunicado until it's over. Just me, my cat, and my newly obtained water. Party hearty, eh?
hey uh kitten. it started at 303. its on cbc right now. BC is ahead.
Its broadcasted right now to a few hundred countries and 61 million homes in N america... (i cheated I listened to the announcers as I was replying).
5 minutes left in ist quarter
Woops! Chat later. Thanks so much, Russ.
No problem kitten, Im drinking water as well, its from my fridge though.. I have a filtration system with UV on it.
BC is at 9 now near the end of the 1st period
No Russ......not watching the Grey Cup.....nor the Pink Cup or the Yellow Cup or even the Blue Cup. I don't know what it is, but my distaste for football is a bit of mystery to even me. I can't even stand being in the same house when it's on. I'm pretty sure it's not the game itself, but the commentators that make me go mad. I'm an extremely passive person, but I could put my foot through a seven thousand dollar TV without a pang of remorse.
LOL, I dont really understand alot of it either PC, but I figure why not cause BC is in it. My bigscreen is on two channels at once and Im surfing the net on my laptop at the same time.. so Im almost at the same stage as you. Im actually relying on the announcers to let me know cause I sure dont.
For the life of me, I can't figure why hubby isn't in here watching it. He is a BIG football fan. (is this Canadian football? if it is, that would explain it. He's not that fond of it.) He's merrily out there working on his shop. If he comes in to put it on.....I'LL be outside merrily working in the shop.
That's just the way it has to be.....LOL
Yep its CFL
BC lions
EDIT: hit return too fast
BC Lions vs Montreal
Ahhh...that 'splains it. I guess I'm safe then.
I can't watch it!(//forums/richedit/smileys/Sad/2.gif)
So I'm listening to it on the internet.
When I get to Seattle next year I'll be able to watch it. CBC is channel 99 in Seattle on cable. Hope CTV doesn't steal the game away from the CBC or I'll be out of luck again! errr.
Im looking for the site now, cant remember where I saw it, but apparently as many americans watch the grey cup as canadians. I wouldnt worry SD, im sure that it will still be there, theres lots of fans in the states.
I'll take the Canadian game over the American version any time. Bigger field, more passing, more exciting.
Well, this thread sure got off track, didn't it?
I did the full Meyers-Briggs years ago and came out INTJ. Same thing on the quicky internet test.

I took a look at the different possibilities and apparently there are four categories of qualities, hence the four letter acronyms : ESFP, INTJ, etc.
There are two possibilities in each of these four categories which are actually the extreme expressions of a "spectrum" :
- in the first category, you have Introverted/Extroverted, which are the opposite extremes of the direction of your attention (inward/outward) so to speak (these are my own words, psychology textbooks might phrase it differently) ;
- the same goes for the other three categories : Sensing/Intuitive, Feeling/Thinking, and Perceiving/Judging.
Apparently Jung considered the personality to be made up primarily of these four factors, each of which would find itself somewhere between two extremes. The percentages or intensities of these four factors taken together would make up your personality.

It's interesting to see that after I wrote the above post, my latest nickname "JGG" was stolen as well (because that's what it is if you register with the nick someone else is using).

Wow, you are getting lots of letters after your posts instead of your name now.

you cannot change your personality.
Oh.
I suppose that's true. But how do you figure that out from that information?
please understand me. you cannot makeover someone to suit your tastes. lol
I would never try.
But I thought you were talking about the inability to change our OWN personality. No?

Healer [a href="vny!://keirsey.com/personality/nf.html"]Idealists[/a] are abstract in thought and speech, cooperative in striving for their ends, and informative and introverted in their interpersonal relations. Healer present a seemingly tranquil, and noticiably pleasant face to the world, and though to all appearances they might seem reserved, and even shy, on the inside they are anything but reserved, having a capacity for caring not always found in other types. They care deeply-indeed, passionately-about a few special persons or a favorite cause, and their fervent aim is to bring peace and integrity to their loved ones and the world. [/p]Healers have a profound sense of idealism derived from a strong personal morality, and they conceive of the world as an ethical, honorable place. Indeed, to understand Healers, we must understand their idealism as almost boundless and selfless, inspiring them to make extraordinary sacrifices for someone or something they believe in. The Healer is the Prince or Princess of fairytale, the King's Champion or Defender of the Faith, like Sir Galahad or Joan of Arc. Healers are found in only 1 percent of the general population, although, at times, their idealism leaves them feeling even more isolated from the rest of humanity. [/p] Healers seek unity in their lives, unity of body and mind, emotions and intellect, perhaps because they are likely to have a sense of inner division threaded through their lives, which comes from their often unhappy childhood. Healers live a fantasy-filled childhood, which, unfortunately, is discouraged or even punished by many parents. In a practical-minded family, required by their parents to be sociable and industrious in concrete ways, and also given down-to-earth siblings who conform to these parental expectations, Healers come to see themselves as ugly ducklings. Other types usually shrug off parental expectations that do not fit them, but not the Healers. Wishing to please their parents and siblings, but not knowing quite how to do it, they try to hide their differences, believing they are bad to be so fanciful, so unlike their more solid brothers and sisters. They wonder, some of them for the rest of their lives, whether they are OK. They are quite OK, just different from the rest of their family-swans reared in a family of ducks. Even so, to realize and really believe this is not easy for them. Deeply committed to the positive and the good, yet taught to believe there is evil in them, Healers can come to develop a certain fascination with the problem of good and evil, sacred and profane. Healers are drawn toward purity, but can become engrossed with the profane, continuously on the lookout for the wickedness that lurks within them. Then, when Healers believe thay have yielded to an impure temptation, they may be given to acts of self-sacrifice in atonement. Others seldom detect this inner turmoil, however, for the struggle between good and evil is within the Healer, who does not feel compelled to make the issue public.
