"[a href="vny!://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2006/10/15/nweight15.xml"]French scientists have linked obesity to lower IQ[/a] reports the Telegraph. In a new five-year study of more than 2,200 adults, people with a low body mass index (BMI) could recall 30% more words in a vocabulary test than those who were obese. The fatter subjects also showed a higher rate of cognitive decline when they were retested five years later. In the United States, [a href="vny!://www.oecd.org/dataoecd/15/23/34970246.pdf"]30% of the population is obese[/a] according to OECD. That's the highest rate of obesity anywhere. Do these high obesity rates affect the average IQ of the population?"

Interesting study.  Would it be possible to take the average weight of the voters in a constituency and compare it to the nominees in their area?  Should be an easy way to tell who will win in any given area.
