Wow. I remembered my teacher telling us that the safest place to be during a lightning storm is in your car. This just proves it.
My dentist's friend had a near fatal lightning accident in Central Park many years ago. Apparently he was jogging in the park, during a light shower and wearing an walkman. Lightning struck a tree near time, throwing him off balance. He suffered shock and a heart attack but survived though half his side is now paralysed.
just out of curiosity, how many of you are driving around with a video camera taping the road while driving?
