Interesting. Wish I could do that but I wouldn't do the USA, I'd do the entire world in 50 days.
Pierre Trudeau did that, he just walked across the world, wanted to see if the world was round, seriously.
No kidding, Sportsdude!! I had never heard that, and I liked him. I even worked for the campaign that elected him.
lol, really? Awesome. He's my political hero. I've got about 10 pictures of him taped on my wall lol!
I read that in his memiors. In the first chapter from birth to 24 Sussex he talks about his journey across the world.
I'll have to look for his memoirs at the library. I liked his attitude. He wasn't a stuffed-shirt politician like the rest. I wish there hadn't been so much opposition to his plans. He had the right ideas to move this country forward.
Really? Pierre Trudeau?
I thought he was the worst thing for Canada and set us back at LEAST a decade. Most of my Family is of the same opinion.
To each his own I guess.
Its funny people still talk about him like he's still alive and PM. When the guy has been dead for 6 years lol. And I could say the same about Mulroney selling Canada's soul to america with NAFTA and trying to go for personal glory in making Quebec sign the constitution when his ego of a move led to the BQ and the rejunivenating the seperatist movement along with the '95 referendum. Boy was he great for the country.
Mulrooney wasnt as bad as Chretien. That guy would have built himself a monument in the centre of canada (cause thats the centre of the universe of course) out of gold that would last forever. Right before he had left as the PM he was already selling himself as the CDN ambassador to the UN, so he could write his own legacies.
NAFTA is a joke of course.
lol I love how that guy couldn't speak english or french. lol.
