The Incom T-65 [a href="vny!://www.starwars.com/databank/starship/xwing/"]X-wing starfighter[/a] didn't have the coaxially-mounted warp-drive pods on top of the thrusters until the "C" model. This one is obviously the "B" model, so the picture is blatantly faked.
The other dead giveaway is that there were no X-wing fighters in World War II. lol

Mostly the clothing, but the fairly antiquated carrier deck and rigging are good indicators too.
