Dad was mowing the lawn found the front part of her in the bushes.
That's so awful, Sportsdude. I'm very sorry to hear that. Poor cat. You rescue her from one situation, only to lose her. You have my sincere sympathy.
sorry about that. Not sure what angel is? a cat?

Ah, kitten answered me.
Haven't told my sister yet

Oh SD. That's so sad. Rest in peace, little cat.
4 breakdowns and I'm still a mesirable mess.
Sportsdude, I know how you feel. I felt the same way when I lost my Spooky to illness. It leaves a cat-sized hole in your heart for a while, so be sure to give Tigger extra attention to make him and you feel better.
We are. Never lost a pet before. This is tough.
I have, but it doesn't get any better. Have you told your sister yet?
Yeah we first told her that Angel died. Then she just held Tigger for an hour. Grandma was crying because she felt that she caused the death because Angel wanted in when she was on the front porch three nights ago. But Angel would have wanted out anyway. She just wanted to be outside. Then Dad came home told sis everything. Its starting to sink in.
It's never easy, but I'm sure she went quickly. She was a beautiful cat. It was kinder than letting her suffer kidney failure.
As me and my mom were talking a minute ago. She went out happy. She got to live outside again.
That's true. She went doing what she liked best. That's a very comforting thought.
I'll remember her basking in the sun sunning herself. She'd flutter her eyes. It was hysterical. Like she was doing it for show. And when I was taking a shower 3 weeks ago and she was outside and the storm came through and it looked like she was going to get blown away.
Plus how can I forget that meow, constant and annoying. Always wanting water then she wouldn't drink it. Or turning off the lights in a room and she'd start to meow because she couldn't see. LOL
My Kaycee insists on drinking water from the tap, and he doesn't care if it's the middle of the night and people are trying to sleep. I'm trying to persuade him that the water in the toilet is a perfectly good substitute and he has tried it a couple of times, but me holding the faucet is what he likes best. Every cat has its own unique personality, and it's great fun to discover what it is. I'm sure that Angel was an interesting cat with her own way of looking at things. I know you saw a lot of difference in her personality as compared to Tigger's.
Yeah Tigger's is "hey lets play and hold me" Angel's was 'hey don't touch me watch me sun my self you petty little humans'
Spooky didn't play. He was a very independent cat. Only toward the end when he was sick did he want to be on my lap every time I sat down. He was quite demanding if things didn't go his way, but such a sweetheart when they did. Tigger is still young and needs a lot of love and attention and play.
Tigger's amazing with this mouse thingy we have we got it for Angel but she was like "ah like I'm going to fall for that thing on a string" Tigger jumps atleast a foot in the air he's amazing.
Kaycee is hooked on cat treats, and when I get them out he hears the package and comes running from wherever he is, inside or out. He stands on his hind legs and puts his paws on the counter waiting for me to open the package. That's my trick for getting him inside so I can put medicine in his eyes. He has a virus and this is to clear it up.
Oh Tigger is becoming like the dog. Ozzie whenever he wants in scratches the door and yelps. Tigger now does the same thing its hilarious. Those two lounge lizards are funny. Tigger stretches for the door handle can't reach it though.
Cats are very quick to learn what gets your attention. If it works for the dog, it has to work for them. Animals are fascinating when you really watch them.
Here's an old pic of Angel in her health days:

So if I make a politically incorrect, somewhat Devil's advocate type of comment in this thread, are you all gonna smite me to death? [img onclick=smile(this.src) src="vny!://www.thesmilies.com/smilies/evilgrin0007.gif"]
She had blue eyes. Was there some Siames in her background? She looks like she is the mistress of the home, even if she was an outside cat. Just by lying there she OWNS the place.

Damn right! Bet on it!!! By the way, what is your pain threshold? (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Teasing/19.gif)
Sportsdude, I share it with you. My closest friend died at 3 o'clock this morning.
I'm so sorry Sportsdude. Poor Angel. Even though this may sound a little warped, I'm at the very least glad you KNOW what has happend to her as opposed to being left to wonder.
....And Gopher. Deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear friend. There's never anything right enough to say.
Oh Gopher. Sorry to hear that, amigo. Hugs and kisses.
Thanks, PC and Lise.
sportsdude are you gay by any chance?
What a personal question to ask? Why did you want to know? How would that affect you one way or another? By the way, are you straight? I really don't care, and I rather doubt anyone else does.
Well said, Kitten. But let's be charitable and presume that the writer was on parole from DV.
no I'm not gay.
