Currently on my number one list:
Nelly Furtado's Promiscuous
followed closely by
Michael Buble's Save the Last Dance for Me (overkill on the song. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!)
What's yours?
Anything by Nickelback or Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Jack Johnson
Ever notice almost every song by Nickleback sound the same over and over again? [/DIV]
Yep there's a website that shows the simularity but I don't know the name. Oh and I forgot Staind. Hate them as well.
Also don't like those punk pop bands. Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, yellowcard, etc. Rock gets over played to death because the genre is basically dead commerically. So every station plays the same band every hour, 10 times a day.
Yeah, I know what you mean, SD. Sometimes I like the song but when a radio station start to play the same f..................g song over and over again, it just grates you to death. We have a radio station playing in our office that plays Michael Buble's song like four to five times a day. Wish I could change the station to hard rock but the patients won't appreciate that.
OMG Lise I love that new avatar.
Thanks. You know what's funny............. I can't even remember the name of the site I got it from.... *sigh*
I hate any of the standards that Willie Nelson tortures to death. They were perfectly good songs until he came along.

On the Road again.....
Oh, great! Now that will be going around in my head all day. Thank you soooo much, Sportsdude.
You're Welcome. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif)
Atleast its not the Nelson and Haggard song "Momma's don't let you're babies grow up to be cowboys" or " You were Always on My Mind" or "Georgia on my Mind" or "Poncho and Lefty"
definitely not this guy

Songs You Love to Hate:
Karma Chameleon by Bore George. An unmitigated piece of crap if there ever was one.
any kind of country song
"My Blue Heaven" as sung by Willie Nelson is like a country hoedown band playing the "Ode To Joy".
I take it kitten you're not a fan of willie nelson.
Was it that obvious?
Say what you will about Willie Nelson, but I really love his version of "Rainbow Connection" from the first Muppet Movie.
Music I love to hate:
That T.A.T.U. song
all that linkin park/limp bizkit-type crap
pop radio country
anything on the radio, for that matter. Bands' most popular songs are usually my least favorite. Once I hear it a million times, I'm over it.
And Billie Holliday and Van Morrison have always rubbed me the wrong way. I know I'm supposed to like them, but I just can't stand 'em. All that Dean Martin/Frank Sinatra type stuff, too.
What the heck's wrong with old Willie? (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Thinking/3.gif) I like his "You are Always on my Mind" and as FC pointed out, the "Rainbow Connection".
Now kitten's going to have those songs in her head now. We're so mean. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Teasing/19.gif)
Did someone say T.A.T.U?
LOL.

I remember them. Everyone thought they were cool back in the day. But alas they weren't really lesbos just acting like it to get attention.
Er...... I have never heard of them before. The first time you mentioned them was when I thought Yuki and Himitsu (where the heck are they now?) were lesbians.
Oh yeah, they were these huge one hit wonders back when I was in middle school. A couple russian singers. Became huge on MTV.
Famous for wearing see through underwear and t shirts on stage and lesbian kisses. And school girl outfits.

I bet the majority of the audience are male. And don't tell me that isn't hawt? (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Teasing/4.gif)
Did I say they were big among the middle school crowd? I think so.
Here are more photos of them but I don't want to post them.

One of them is married now with a kid apparently I think its the redhead.
Good morning! You're right. That dratted "Rainbow Connection" has been running through my mind since I first read it at 5 this morning! AAAAARRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!! It's not that I dislike Willie Nelson. I'm sure he's perfectly fine as a country singer. It's just when he takes a nice old standard and sings it through his nasal passages that it gets to me. Rod Stewart is another one that doesn't have the voice for the old classics, IMO. Imagine Yoko Ono singing opera and you get my drift. I'm not saying they can't sing, there's just certain music that isn't suitable for their voices.
well kitten then what kind of music do you like?
I grew up around classical music since my dad is a classically trained musician but funny thing is he knows nothing about popular music after 1980. Never heard of U2 for example.
But I kinda hate classical music due to the fact it makes me angry for some reason. But I know all the composers obviously due to my background.
Bahaha. We so love to tease poor kitten.
I like symphony, opera, jazz, old standards, and some rock and roll going back to the 60s and 70s. I even like some disco and some country songs. I don't like rap. I can't see why it's called music when most of them can't even sing. So you see I like a pretty broad range of music, but I don't like everything in every category. I pick and choose what pleases me. (go ahead and tease......I can take it.)
I can't stand stuff from the 60's and 70's. It reminds me of my parents and leave it to beaver for some reason.
So I went through that phase then the 70's hard rock phase, rediscovered the eighties techno scene about 10 months ago now I'm on U2 90's era (Achtung Baby, Zooropa and Pop). Trying to catch up if you will missed out on a lot of music. (didn't buy an album until 2000 U2's All that you can leave behind)
Went through a christian rock phase (creed) can't stand to listen to it now I've banned those albums.
Went through a Metallica phase. Basically because thats all my cousins listens too.
Now I'm into independent music mostly from Canada, U2 and Coldplay and Franz Ferdinand
I like it that I listen to bands nobody has heard of: Arcade Fire, The Stills, Hot Hot Heat, Stars, Broken Social Scene, New Pornographers and so on.
Since I'm so old-fashioned, I like a song to have understandable lyrics. Hearing "Baby, Baby" repeated endlessly just doesn't do a thing for me. If there's a story in the verses, I'll be happy to listen, as long as it isn't glorified gangster stuff.
Baby Baby Baby.....
Yeah I don't like rap either. I just don't get it. Anyone can do it. My friend I have come up with some sick lyrics before just making crap up and I bet we could cut a record and it do pretty well. Rap was orginally about social strife but now its about tits, ass, guns and sex. Where did it switch from social commentary to let's party? Most likely when Biggie died and the fued kinda ended and Puff Daddy took over the scene and turned it into one big party.
The funny thing is rap isn't as huge in Europe as it is here. If you turn on the radio and here a rock band or pop band Its most likely from the UK.

Sorry about that! I actually was reminded of it when I read your post, so I clicked right over to iTunes and bought it. He's not the best singer but he's better than a muppet.
hot hot heat's "bandages" song is annoying (or whatever the actual title is)
