Well, love 'em or hate 'em.....it always feels like summer when I hear oldies from the Beachboys. (like there's NEW Beachboys ???? lol)
Can't remember who did it, but "Summer In The City" is an obvious choice.

whenever those pop punk rock bands come out with albums.
I've got differnt bands for the seasons too. Like whenever I put in Arcade Fire I think of Quebec, winter and snow. The imagery for that band doesn't seem to work well in the summer.
