Title: Practically almost virtually done
Post by: TehBorken on Jun 20 06 02:33
Well, here ya go. 99.8% complete- all that's left is a little pressure washing (to blend where the old deck meets the new), painting the railing, and then some minor touch up. But it's party-rated and ready to go. Whew.

I am truly impressed.
My dad was a carpenter at one point, and although I inherited none of his skill with the hammer and saw, I have massive amounts of respect for the planning and effort required to accomplish something like what you've done.

Nice job, TB.  Wanna come finish the baseboards at my place?  They're driving me mad.  (//forums/richedit/smileys/Angry/5.gif)

I like it.  Knowing me I'd go a little crazier and build an over hang with a roof so I could put some hanging plants up. But I guess thats what the bottom of the deck on the lower level is for.  Still can't get over the trees.

Such a gentleman . . .

Don't worry, I'm just wingeing.

It has been that kind of week, as a lot of my posts can attest.

Thanks anyway!    (//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif)
