Right, like who is actually going to wear this? What venue might be appropriate for this ghastly fashion faux pax? It's from the "ready-to-wear" collection, as if there's any place besides the surface of Mars that would be okay to wear this.

Looks like a dildo.
Looks like the emporer's new clothes.
if my wife came home wearing that i'd get a divorce, right after i finished laughing myself into a coma.
looks like you'd need to carry an inner-tube patch kit if you went out on the town wearing that thing!
Sometimes Designers put pieces for artistic expression, and sometimes in an ensemble, one item is actually only supposed to be for wide mass production.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that this one won't be mass produced. Plus, there just aren't that many people who have a closet big enough to store it in.
Its not that bad.[/DIV]Think of how many smiles you will bring about, heard of therapy fashion? But personally I would add more colour.

It's all about art and creativity, no? Ah, you gotta have some fun while you're being creative!
Very fashionable, lol.

That would pass in paris for a jacket.

That's the same outfit I usually wear when I play Naked Twister®.
Some of those designers are basket cases.

That orange one is ghastly! It looks as though the model has a bad problem with cellulite.
They're dreadful, kitten..........I'm wondering what their point is. I guess I've never understood that part of the 'fashion' world. (nor am I sure I want to)
Those particular fashion designers are very wealthy.
Apparently there are a few of us around who are idiots
I've occasionally come across one of those fashion shows and watched in morbid fascination. Are there really women out there that think they would look irresistible in those creations? Enough so that they are willing to shell out thousands of dollars for the privilege of looking truly idiotic?[/DIV] [A href="vny!://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZNxdm824DFCA" target=_blank][/A]

Do you remember a 'mime' type of act, I believe maybe from Switzerland (I'm guessing). Anyway they were called Mummenchanz (sp?) They performed weird and wonderful comical acts. They are hard to describe. (I am actually going somewhere with this...not far, mind you) THAT'S what that orange outfit reminds me of. (all of which means nothing if you don't remember Mummenchanz)
(please please, somebody out there remember them...lol)
Sure I remember them. I just can't remember when I saw them. (I mean which decade!) I think it was sometime in the '90s.
Phewwww ! Thank goodness for you, kitten.
I wonder if they got their costumes from the designers reject pile.
Actually, the designers looked to them to provide them with ideas.
It'd be kind of scary to know about the fashion world. That means you might start to "understand" the above pieces, and defend them to your giggling friends.

We ARE kind of idiots, when you think about it. We wear things that are uncomfortable, that make our feet HURT, that don't suit our individual body types, all for the sake of fashion.

They were my favorite Muppet Show episode as a kid, and we just watched it onDVD.
OMG....I've be racking my brain all day trying to figure out where these memories of this 'act' came from, and THAT'S IT !!!!!!!
Yeah, they did the act with masks made from pads of paper on them for different expressions, and made some critters. The best act was two characters that had masks made out of clay that they would manipulate (their own and each others).
Yea....I was thinking about it today after the memory 'resurfaced', and a lot of their acts came back....and I remember that one. They were good, I wonder what became of them ?
