Oh, the leaning tower of Pisa. You're Italian!
Uhmm..... isn't that the Big Ben?
Big who?
The clock. Big Ben in England. I think that's what it's called. If I'm not mistaken, Trollio's Brit.

The grand prize goes to the lovely red-headed vampire. (//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/19.gif)
London is absolutely amazing. Tons to see and do there. Love it though I can do without the never-ending soot and the crazy cabbies.
OK, see ya later!
I assume that Trollio was born in London.

Yes, and very, very, very homesick for it as well. (//vny!://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/travesmilies/flaggen1/smilie_flagge3.gif)
Can't find fish and chips in Vancouver or do you miss the football hooligans with it being the World Cup and all?
Conceived and mostly carried in Vancouver, born in Seattle on Capitol Hill--now Seattle's equivalent of the Castro.

Fish and chips stopped being the national dish about 20 years ago. Give me biryani followed up by rasmalai. (//forums/richedit/smileys/Other/18.gif) (And yes, I'm as "white" as Harold Wilson.) Most food native to my islands is not fit for human consumption. (//forums/richedit/smileys/Other/8.gif)
You're the sportsdude. As far as I'm concerned, football is a remnant from pre-Enlightenment man. It would attract my interest much more if it was played the way it was in the 1300s, by fighting to kick a skull from one side of the village to the other. It made rugby look like synchronized swimming. (//forums/richedit/smileys/Other/13.gif)
For me, it's just that London, like any really big city, is a thing unto itself. In some ways, cities have more in common with each other than they do with the rest of the nations that surround them. It's not perfect, it's not safe at night, it's not even clean. It's just home. It's too big to describe. (//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/2.gif)

Maybe back in the 60s. Berkeley is also the home of Cyra McFadden, who was the original coiner of the word "yuppie" back in the early 80s. I lived in Berkeley for a year before I moved into The City, and it was pretty gentrified and full of bourgeois married women with strollers when I was there.
Born in Burnaby, British Columbia!
Grew up mostly there. Lived a bit in the Okanagan, went to Uni. in Calgary, then lived in Sunnyvale, California, Vancouver, and Calgary again.

I was born in Mexico. Even though I haven't been to Mexico in years, I still have dreams that feature grand old Mexican buildings, bats, pyramids, and cactuses.
