Figured this topic can gather a lot of photos in the age a massive climate change.
These photos are taken in Southern Manitoba. I am not exactly sure where?

Yeah, check out the site. Used to see these in Sask., but not this pronounced (nor R-rated).
I checked out that site. Wow. Really neat pictures. If I had seen those clouds in person, it would have freaked me out completely. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Shocked/5.gif)

[/div] [div]Saint-Louis Arch ? No, it's a rocket or a missile test, taken with long exposure. Probably from Cape Canaveral as the palm trees in the foreground makes me think about it... If not, it's from French Guyana.

Just under the K in Saskatchewan has so far been off my route, nearest I've been to it are Weyakwin and Prince Albert.

"Just under the K in Saskatchewan has so far been off my route, nearest I've been to it are Weyakwin and Prince Albert. "
Yeah, it's about 130k north of PA.
Is Big River worth a visit next time I'm in the area? I.E. What other towns can you compare it with?
I really don't know. I haven't been there since John A. was P.M. The roads were dirt. The highway was dirt. So, yeah, it was kinda cool. Rough and ready town. Some quite nice people there. Recent highway report:
Hwy 55
- Vicinity of 7 km W. of Red Earth Access to 18 kilometers east of Jct Hwy 123 : Surface breaks
- Smeaton to Meath Park : Reduced speed required, Loose stones
- 15 kilometers north of Debden to 14 kilometers south of Big River : Seal Coating, visibility reduced in dust , Reduced speed required, Fresh oil, Loose stones, One lane traffic, Watch for equipment and persons working, Flagpersons in attendance, Be prepared to stop
Except for some land cleared for farming and a few natural meadows, the town is surrounded by the Northern Boreal Forest and hundreds of lakes from "pond" to "you can't see the far shore" in size. See the [A href="vny!://www.brsk.net/map/localmap.htm"]local map[/A] to examine some of these features in relation to Big River.

Thanks for the information. I see what you mean, but may give it a try even so (maybe next year).
