I've known cats I like, and cats who liked me, but on the whole, they're not for me. I'm supposed to be a "cat-like" personality, but I am completely in tune with dogs. The allergy might also have something to do with it. (//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/14.gif)
Not a huge fan. I love my dogs. They are way too much fun. And they eat cats (if they could catch them). JJ
Some people want friends.
Others want minions.
And that's all I've got to say about that.
Don't worry, I'm not going to start posting pics of black labrador retreivers here.
TehBorken ???? *standing here with foot tapping*

I wish I could locate an article I read in Readers Digest many years ago. It was a 'tongue in cheek' essay about why women shouldn't date men who don't like cats. Although it was written in a very humourous manner, not to mention a tad sexist, there were a few seeds of wisdom that deserved consideration. It suggested that men who preferred dogs, did so because they could train them to be loyal followers who adored their masters.........cats on the other hand were more likely to yawn in their faces and scoff at such a notion.......well, you get where this is going. I repeat, it was tongue in cheek, but I'd have to say some of this writers 'wisdom' has stuck with me and served me quite well.[img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/more/bigs/c033.gif" border=0]
Well I guess by that notion I like independent women. Because I kinda like cats a little bit more then dogs because for one a cat usually does everything on its own. It doesn't beg for food, you don't have to let it out to go to the bathroom and so on. So I guess that also means I like someone who is low matience whatever that means but then again I'm really easy going.
.....and this be my 3rd.
Hmm. That's oneupwomanship if ever there was (in the meantime, Kitten wants to ask you about purity).
Uh....ummmm.....well, it's umm......it's kind of like...um. Well it's something like a aaa...
Hmmm. Tell Kitten I need to think on it for a bit.[img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/more/bigs/c025.gif" border=0]
Even when you are completely familiar with the concept, it is difficult to explain to an amateur like me.

Tut, tut, P.C, You must be careful of excessive verbiage when communicating wit a person of normal attention span.
Oops....I thought I was in the 'Quotes' thread. I was quoting Frank McCourt[img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/more/bigs/c018.gif" border=0]
