Don't know if this has been posted here before, but there's a way to speed up firefox, if you're a broadband user.

1) Type "about:config" on the address bar

2) Look for "network.http.pipelining" , "network.proxy.pipelining" , "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests"

3) Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true" , set "network.proxy.pipelining" to "true" , and set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like "30".

4) Right click anywhere on the page and select New -> Integer. Call it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0"

It worked on mine (I use Shaw), so I'm guessing it should work on some other users' computers here.

[P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"]I use IE6 to view DS as it a lot easier to cut & paste, when I used firefox the picture never used to appear. I use firefox for everything else as it is a lot safer browser than IE6, also I use thunderbird as my email application.

 [P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"]The themes and extensions are good as well.

I use Firefox and have been very happy with it overall. I keep IE around because every once in a blue moon I encounter a site that Fox can't display correctly.

I think some of the extensions for Firefox are a blast. There's one to quickly view a page in IE. I use fireFTP, which is decent (it's an FTP utility integrated into firefox as an extension). And there's a really fun extension called stumble, or stumbleupon I'm not sure which. Anyway, there's a huge database of sites submitted by Firefox users and categorized for your pleasure. You tell Firefox what subjects you're interested in and Stumble takes you to random sites that fall within the category. I've found some amazing things with this little gem.

Same here. FireFox rocks. I don't use anything else, except I fire up the [span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 191);"]Evil E[/span] to make sure things that I design/code in FireFox look right in Explorer.

Been using Firefox for around a year now, plus Mozilla's email prog, Thunderbird.[/DIV] Much less prone to attack than IE, much more versatile; I wouldn't go back.

How many of you use FireFox? How many of you know what it is?
