I don't get the fascination with them. Then again look at all the wackos the U.S. has had over the years. Mary Kay, Andrea Yates, that teenager in long island (Amy Fisher) who had an affair with some guy then shot his wife in the face back in the eighties. BTK and everyone's favourite cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer.  Then there was Ted Bundy, Timothy McViegh, Eric Rudolph (who is considered a martyr in some social conservative circles), Son of Sam, Bonnie and Clyde... List goes on and on.

    America loves pyschos.

 Bingo.

Kinda sad that they're well known enough to be recognizable even by people living in another country.

Meh... I'm sure some of you will recognize this lovely couple:

They're both good looking, university educated and hold accredited degrees.

Any guesses? [A onclick="addImg('icon/icon_smile_shy.gif')" href="jvascript:void(0)"][/A]

I sure didn't take it to mean that you literally thought that way.

Also...in response to a couple of PMs I received, let me clarify a few things:
[ol][li]I don't advocate shooting your ex-wife or ex-husband, no matter how satisfying it may be.
[/li][li]I don't advocate shooting family court judges (even though it sounds like a good idea at first).
[/li][/ol]I hope this puts a few outraged souls to rest. You know who you are.

I can't tell you how many times I've come back only to find they broken in and restocked my Pop-Tarts, but those bastards always leave the chocolate-frosted kind and not the blueberry ones that I like.

People in my building are always holding doors for each other.  All polite and friendly.

I don't hold out much hope when people in my own building won't hold the door open for me when I'm loaded down with bags of groceries.  As if I am going to break in so that I can fill someone's apartment with food and then run away.

That's so true.  The urge to be a good Samaritan is still there, but restrained by fear.  What an ugly world this has become, or was it always there but hidden?

I never found Bundy attractive.  I wouldn't have looked twice but the way he suckered his victims is beyond scary.  I can certainly see myself helping a guy in a cast get his books into a car... Or let me rephrase that... I COULD have seen myself doing that.  I wouldn't now.

  And THAT sucks.

Which, ma'am, I suppose are no less beautiful than thine owne godeselfe.

As for GB, I was just trying to make the point that his face isn't as ugly as his policies - far be it from me to think him good-looking.
