A grasshopper walks into a bar.
The bartender, amazed, says, "there's a drink named after you!"
The grasshopper says, "uh...Carl Smith?"

Let's get that oil out of the Alberta tar sands!

I'm starting "Freakonomics". Pretty good read so far.

I read somewhere the US is supposedly attacking Iran at the end ofMarch and that they'll be using those oh-so-nifty battlefield nukes. Then again the horoscope is usually wrong, lol.

(What's with the run-ons?) I'll try that again...

One thing I don't think was mentioned is that the Muslim worldis a collective culture, unlike North America & Europe. Althoughsome of us may attend church every Sunday, most Muslims willattend their mosques many, many times a week.

Itis the politicalview in Islam not to depict Mohammed. The political Islamists have beenbaited and are breeding European anti-Islam sentiment as a result, allowing perhaps for European sympathy with the American war effort.

Itis my opinion that when the USA attacks Iran in the next few months, there will be far more support from the EU and European citizens. Itwon't be Iraq all over again.

Let's not forget the real reason Saddam was taken: he was planning to sell oil on the Euro to undermine the US dollar.

I voted "yes". It's true too. Although "Tor Johnston" visits DV he speaks Tor-speak whilst there.
Beavis/Butthead, Derek/Clive, Terrance/Philip were other things I enjoyed on that board.

All you've got there now (whack me if you've heard this before) is a sting operation dressed up as a
maladjusted forum.

I once had a yogic flier land on my foot, does this count? Hurt like hell too, dude had a bony arse!
Then again, maybe I should have remained behind the yellow line as had been suggested.

I love it, she'll go home with her swag and watch Springer and bust the guests on their wardrobe choices!
Kind of like the Joan Rivers of skid row, lol.

Mostly here to comment on your nick, there's a nice Residents tune called "Melon Collie Baby".

About the donor organ influencing your decisions, I just say NO to those provocative wankers!
I wonder how the French woman with the new face feels? She's smoking cigarettes too.

One chance only. I actually heard a woman say her husband only hit her"when she deserved it", and that wasn't a line from a film. I got fromthat if a woman allows it, the guy is empowered to repeat it.

I bet they all had a nice boozy lunch before a nice afternoon of killing, lol.

When a guy starts pushing his girl around, he is in need of some angermanagement skills. Otherwise the situation tends to escalate, and itlooks like your friend wants to stop it before it progresses.
The City of Van should have some social programs set up and if yourfriend isn't worried about being stigmatized by attending a fewseminars or one-on-ones, he will be able to learn to identify thetriggers.

On Wednesday, hospital officials said he had a normal heart rhythmagain and was sitting up in a chair, eating regular food and planned todo some legal work in his hospital room.

[/b]LOL, I wonder what sort of legal work Mr. Whittington is planning to undertake? Is he revising his Last Will and Testiment?
