He's just a Prince and I hope that they pass over him and that the next King be William.

William the bald. Poor bloke.

Well, I just don't see that happening.

Charles only fault in life is that his father is Philip (frat boy), his mother is Elizabeth (the last real 'monarch' in monarchical sense, she doesn't have a sense for people), not very good looking and public gaffe's in social situations.

I think he'd rather be a politician.

I agree with JJ

Screw him. He mucked up the royalty by publicly getting nailed for nailing Camilla Bowles. Then made them look worse by the attempted hiding it.

Well he originally like Camilla in the 70s but the monarchy wanted Charles to 'marry a virgin' so they Diana and forced him to dump Camilla.

Charles should have stood up for himself in the '80s and married Camila much as his Uncle Edward did in the '30s.  Times had changed and he would have been allowed to be King but after the real scandal with Diana if he becomes King the monarchy is dead.

Well, as I stated earlier in the thread, Charles is stuck in a rock and a hard place in the 'monarchical' world. If he was 10yrs younger, he wouldn't of had to deal with this odd/weird old fashionness of choosing a partner in the 80s. If he looks at his cousins in Norway, Denmark, Netherlands and Sweden for example, the future King of Norway married a commoner who was a single mum at the time. In Sweden, the future Queen is marrying a fitness instructor. In Denmark the future King married an Australian, while the future King of the Netherlands married an Argentian. As if I can't get enough of the Monarchs, the King of Luxembourg married a Cuban.

Sooo lol

Should Prince Charles ever be our king?

I think he shouldnt.. I actually like the monarchy.. but I dont think he should be king.
But at the end of the day.. it will work the way its always worked with Monarchies. The next in line gets it.

When I apply reason, I hate the idea of a monarchy - sentimentally, I love it!
