How is the summer going.

I have been busy with the shop, and I am also babysitting a friend's kid while she is job hunting.

  My dad and I took my friend's kid to a sleepover party at the Jays Stadium. It was so fun! It was a couple weeks ago. Sleep right at the ballpark floor. We woke up, had breaky, and spent the day at the ballpark. 5th annual.

yes for certain crimes. Really depends on the crime in question. But I would have a hard time not trying to keep a father or mother out of jail if I could help it.

How is spring going? Good here. I am done with sports for the season. I am thinking about just running all summer to stay in shape. Or at least try.

Anyone see Star Trek? I heard it was good, even for non-trekkies like me.

  anyone have plans for the summer? I am pretty sure I will just be helping with my dad with the shop. Maybe a couple jays games and trips Stateside. Other than that, not much. Ottawa July 1 maybe to see a cousin and get sloshed!

Hi there. Ball hockey is the same as regular hockey, except we play in a gym with a ball. No roller blades, just running shoes. Just like PE class, haa.  Actually, it is a very competitive league in Richmond Hill. Full gear, helmets, and insurance forms.  I sweat so hard playing this game. It is perfect for the post hockey season. By Bruins, I mean our team, not Boston. Its pretty hot actually. I get to sweat it up with a couple dozen sweaty guys. One in particular is the cutest... there are only 3 other females that play. min. 2 per team.

  As for drivers needing tires, yeah, I guess you are right about bikes, etc. Our business is still not booming, but the 'B' word is no longer a cloud looming over our heads. My dad only has a couple years he wants to keep the shop going. Unless I take it over, he will sell it. I am not sure yet. I got time to think. I probably will. I do enjoy it. I am just concerned how many more years people will need tires? I thought we would all have Jetsons cars by now? flying. haa.

I don't think this forum moved too much. Guess spring is here and everyone is busy.

  some good news. our family shop has been getting busier and busier lately. We were worried for awhile, but the warmer weather puts drivers on the road. Drivers need tires! yay!  

Chicago is a sweet team. Did you know there is more BC boys on Chicago than Vancouver.

  Also, did you know there is more Swedes on the Canucks than there are Swedes in Sweden? LOL!  

I love Canadian food.

Basically, there is nothing that couldn't fit under that category. haha.

 Nirvana was grunge. Although the term Grunge was a media made term to describe the early 90s Seattle rock movement. Interviews with Nirvana, they never referred to their music as grunge. Grunge was something that built up on a toilet rim. They referred their music as rock.

  Linkin Park is just a NuMetal, or New rock.

U2, classic and new rock.

Nickelback and Creed seem to be the leaders of the post grunge world. I consider them plain ol rock.

Lighthouse I am not sure what they sing?

  Everyone disses Chad Kroeger these days. As far as I can tell, they (Nickelback), are good ol Canadian boys, jeans and t-shirts, beers and guitars kind of guys.
