Title: Comparing Vancouver B.C to Seattle
Post by: WestCoastGuy on Mar 05 06 12:12
Hey people, i\\\'m fom Vancouver B.C and i\\\'m curious to see how everybody from the Emerald City is doing. I noticed that downtown Seattle doesn\\\'t seem to have as bad a traffic problem as Vancouver B.C. Has any of you guys been to Vancouver B.C recently. Any suggestions as to how we Vancouverties can improve our traffic situation here.

Seattle has the Mariners...now that is something I envy about this city!  Opening day is next month!  Whoohooo!(http://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/2.gif)

They are very different in a lot of ways.[/DIV]Vancouver - West Hastings, places like Blunt. Bros. and Amsterdam Cafe are doing amazing business, and that whole 300 block will soon be dedicated to marijuanna cafes, seed dealership, and peace. Cops are friends with the owners and it is one of the last things they are worried about. (American Marc Emery set shop up here).

Seattle - I am not sure is ther is a simular type district? Marc is facing a life sentance in the USA for selling seeds...SEEDS! [/DIV]WTF?!??!?!!!! Aside from that, I think Seattle has a bit more lively music scene. Both towns have great access to the outdoors.
