Come on, be honest. Who really has the more homophobic laws -- China or Russia? If China has the more homophobic laws, then why did we look the other way during the 2008 olympics, and why are we making a bigger deal about anti-gay laws this time around? Is it because it's ok for Asians to be anti-gay and not ok for whites to be?
It's not okay for anyone to be anti-gay, in my opinion.

It's just that the media only reports on anti-gay situations when it's perpetrated by whites, for fear of speaking the truth that non-white countries are often much worse than white countries.

I don't know, it seems like I've seen plenty of coverage of the anti-gay discrimination in places like India and China, South America, and so on.
