Title: MTV's Bams Unholy Union
Post by: Lise on Feb 14 07 09:11
OK, I don't get Bam and his finance. WHAT does that woman see in him? He's obnoxious, rude, has no class and she's gorgeous as hell. What is she doing with him??????

I saw one episode where she hung her wedding dress and he hated it so much that he paintballed the gown, splattered mud on it then nailed it to their front door. She comes home, screaming at him and he looks apologetic enough and then she laughs at him, saying it was all a hoax. As if she would have her real wedding gown in their house.

  Ah well. Maybe opposites attract.....

Anyways, check out their first episode.

I really loath Bam. Not 100% sure why, because the rest of the Jackass crew (especially Party Boy and Steve O) I'm in love with. Maybe it's because Bam's schtick is all about making people angry, whereas the rest of the guys get off on idiotically dangerous stunts and/or travelling around the world, meeting strange people and letting animals bite them.

lol, he's also the guy with all the idea's and the guy that carries them out.. not the guy that gets all the things done to him.

I guess so, but he just seems like the only genuine a**hole in the crew.
The rest are just...jackasses     :)
P.S. ever seen Wild Boys??

Hmm, wild boys comes up with nothing except for Jay Leno.

And some stuff from 1924 and 1925...

Yeah, well it would help if I bothered to spell it right.

[a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wildboyz"]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wildboyz[/a]

It stars Steve O and Chris Pontius (Party Boy).
Funniest shit on TV. Unless gay stuff bothers you    ;)

The dangerous nature of the stunts arguably outstrips that of either [a  href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackass" title="Jackass"]Jackass[/a] or another similar spin-off, [i style="font-weight: bold;"][a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viva_La_Bam" title="Viva La Bam"]Viva La Bam[/a][/i]. In the course of the show, [a  href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve-O_%28stuntist%29" title="Steve-O (stuntist)"]Steve-O[/a] has purposely subjected himself to the relatively mild sting of the [a  href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emperor_scorpion" title="Emperor scorpion"]Emperor scorpion[/a] on more than one occasion, and [a  href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Pontius" title="Chris Pontius"]Chris Pontius[/a] has nearly been attacked by a wild jaguar and has been bitten by a [a  href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Bear" title="Black Bear"]Black Bear[/a]. One of their most dangerous stunts showed the boys attracting a great white shark while disguised as seals, then later jumping into the open water just 10m away from it. [a  href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manny_Puig" title="Manny Puig"]Manny Puig[/a], a wild animal expert who occasionally joins the Wildboyz on their adventures, pulled a grown male lion's tail, demonstrating an African rite of passage.

They don't mention the time when Steve O and Pontius are hanging in a hammock 10 feet off the ground and there are chunks of meat dangling below them and...yeah, about 10 African Lions reaching up and grabbing at the meat. One of the big lions manages to snag the hammock and the two boys land in the middle of a hungry lion pack. One of the beasts starts to tackle Pontius but they manage to flee to safety. Now THAT is great television!     :)

Ive seen part of the boat one where they attract the sharks.. I dont know where though, you have me pondering hard here now.

LOL! I knew I would come off like that. I dont mind either way.. everyone has their own likes and dislikes and their own preferences. Who cares if you like guys over girls, it doesnt change who you are.

It's funny, the wikipedia article doesn't make a single mention of the whole gay thing.
A lot fo their "stunts" involve putting themselves in incredibly homoerotic situations. Like when they went to India and visited a temple devoted to the kama sutra. A male instructor was teaching them how to make love by demonstrating positions on Pontius. It was the most awkward and disturbingly hawt thing I've seen in a while    :)
