Yup. Actually I think this guy already has a bunch of busts. Gives millions to Oklahoma State University, they named the football stadium after him. He's given over 400 million most of which has gone to the athletic's programme, which if you know anything about the NCAA isn't actually concerned with academia. 400 million for basketball teams to graduate maybe 1 player on the team.

.....minimise use of oil for electricity, instead use wind turbines and use natural gas, both of which the US has abundance of, to genearate electricity. Oil companies already owns 50% of the natural gas wells so will cooperate.
.....the Saudis will not increase oil production and price of gas will plateau at $6/ gal next year
I'm all for anyone who proposes ways to cut our reliance on oil. Anyway I rather listen to a guy in the oil/energy business in search of a legacy then a lawyer/politician looking for votes or pork barrel funds for his home state to find a way out of this energy mass.

He does not. When I heard him yesterday on GMA interview, he said leave the oil for the cars, trucks and trains. If other sources are use for electricity generation demand for oil will be reduced.

The grid already is in place. Farms are built with private investments....already being done in California, problem is with environmentalist.....wind turbines are injuring/killing hawks and eagles at present locations!

He might not be an 'idealist' but at least he's willing to put his money where his mouth is so to speak and put forward a solution and be willing to back it.
He's putting forward a solution thats viable.. not sitting around trying to get re-elected. Sure it might make him more, but he's willing to try.
I read somewhere that he's also backing more natural gas for vehicles.
